side volume buttons

I remember seeing a mod or tuturial to disable the sound when pushing the side key volume buttons...I can't find it . Any help?

Welcome to M3 - use GPTE (Gaintable ediitor) To set system tone volume to 0 (or 1 to avoid keypad click bug), this does affect some other sounds.

gain_table.bin file offset 4E external speaker system tone gain (original setting: 08, recommended setting: 01)

You could disconnect them.

Afraid not - and it is any of the system tones - like reminder beeps, default rings, low batt warning
