Hi there,

I think this is a common problem with all Motorolas.

I live in Kuwait (+965), and I don't know how to add Contacts. Our providers here send SMS using +965 prefix, and we receive local calls without +965.

Hence, if I create a contact using only the 8 digit nos., I'm able to resolve Call contacts fine, but if I receive an SMS, it doesn't show the name. However, if I create the contact adding a +965 prefix to the 8 digits, it resolves SMS' but not calls.

All other phone brands work fine whether you put +965 or not, so I don't know why this issue with Motos still exist.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks...

Let me search as i remember you could edit a file and that solve the caller ID problem (that's the problem, right?)

Yeah, I think there was a way. I remember trying it on my old Rokr E6 but it didn't work, can't remember what it was to try it on here...:(

Hi all!! I have the same problem, could you solve it? I'm trying mixing some firmware to find the CG's file that contain this configuration well...

I detect that the problem is in the CG43, this could be fix editing the seem?

I doubt it, i think you can do it by editing .cfg files, as seem edit is notvery useful on MagX or at least is not very used

Yes, I copy the CG43 from my TMOB firmware to the
"R6637_G_81.03.0ER_GSJPIXL00APMY05C_LP0063_1FF" and works fine, but doing this I lost the network unlock's, where I can find information for edit .cfg files? plz...

Well by now you can only discover it by yourself as i think that none has made a guide about that, but it's quite easy [/ezxlocal/download/appwrite/setup]
