MMS Restriction

I'm trying to insert a ringtone to a MMS message and send it but the ringtone doesn't appear under the Music category. Anyone know how to fix it?

Ringtones to be used in MMS's must be stored in either a/mobile/audio (for Polyphonic tones), or e/mobile/music for MP3's and WMA's. It seems that it won't recognise any ringtones stored in the TF card.

To transfer ringtones easily to the Phone Memory (e/mobile/music), from media finder, select the ringtone, then go to Options>Manage>Move>Phone. Once moved, you should be able to insert it into your MMS.

Mine recognizes all the ringtones that aren't 300kb+,even if they are on the memory card. I was just wondering if there was a seem to fix it so I could send the bigger ringtones.

Well it looks like because my MMS has a size limit, any ringtones bigger than that can't be inserted or viewed.

256kb is the limit with ringtone/music and video bitrates. I've not come across a Seem edit to improve that as yet.
