Motorola Z8

I might be getting the Motorla Z8 after my Mum finally got the z3 of me :)

I just want to see some screenshots of the menu etc. if anyone has the phone. I also want to know if this phone will be good enough and easy to use.

My advice would be dont get the Z8 I have one and it is without a doubt the very worst moto I have ever owned. It runs symbian OS which is a nightmare, battery life is not good, the music player is a piece of s**t. I could go on..........

I like it. Not the easiest phone to use but I like the features on it. Haven't finished exploring what I can do though, adn the S9 headset's a nightmare (music keeps cutting in and out!?). Crashed a few times already too, not sure if that's when it runs out of RAM or whatnot.

Hopefully (too hopeful?) Motorola will fix this with software updates, I'm otherwise happy with the look and functionality. Def not for everybody though

If memory serves after poking around (as far as I could go) there is about 50Mb of RAM and 46 or 64Mb of ROM

As far as update's go that's up to the developers of Symbian

Use Rokr Z6 instead of Z8. Z6 runs on MotoMagx and more moddable than Z8.

z8 is good if you want the 3G, but if not probably the Z6 is a better bet.

i have the z8 and i love it the camera is hella good the battery life yeah its not good but the more you have going on with your phone text talking music all the time that runsa the battery on any fone trust me i had the l6, k1 blue and black and now i have the z8, i would recondmend it to any one

hey thanks all for the info. i was about to hit the buy it now button for 350.00 on ebay but seeing as how it sint moddable something told me to wait...

instead im actually going with a maxx heh lol tought id get something different from sliders and face phones...
but this thread was very usefull... for some reason i knew i would regret buying the Z8.. i really want to get my hands on the rokr E8 though...
