i dont really think there is any competition, L9 is the most advanced as compared to its competitors. L7, L7i, V3i are old models. They really do not offer much. iTunes on L7 is the only good thing on L7 as compared to L9.
If there is a competitor, it could be Z6 or the other new phone releases. Z6 is really good & i would think it would be better to L9.

i still say Z8 is best...but i wanted to stick with one model because i didnt want to keep buying up more for other models...considering i also have a v551 which im keeping as a standby...its still stock, for the most part but i have made some minor changes but anyways...one vote for my L72/L9!

its obvious that the L9 rocks...its the only new moto with a radio...heck the only other models with radio are the "entry-level" moto's lyk the w-series with vga cams and no expandable memory...the L9 not only looks nice but it packs a punch with the 2GB expandable memory, full screen videos, 2 MP cam(which is not too bad) and the super-slim profile and as mobile-review.com sums it up, " Motorola SLVR L9 is in a league of its own, being a quite decent solution for its money"

Maybe U right, but in some decisions even L9 looks bad because:
no 3D in Java
no manipulations with unsupported files
too slow CPU

But he works great with multimedia files such as video, very few phones can play video with 1mbit/s stream. So my choise at this moment is L9.

I have a Rizr Z3, SLVR L9 and SLVR L7 and I found Z3 is far better than the above two phones.
But in this competion, obiviously L9 will be the winner since it had the highest config of all the 4 phones.

It can't be a very difficult choice because the first three choices are only updates ofthe original L7 and with the V3i it's just more style... but i think they're somehow similar but if you want a RAZR then gofor the RAZR2

well, i think there's no comparison, L9 is by far better, but is still far from perfect, and it got some issues.

1. slow cpu
2. medium quality 2mp camera
3. 262k 176x220 screen

but there's also a lot of things offered in the same package and since i love the SLVR Lineage i've already owned a L7 And a L7e and i think they are good for the price you are paying. :tapdance:

i would have to say L7, and that is because it is the most moddable as of now. L9 is ok, but has a week processor, hence lag, a small 176x220 resolution and no 3d. V3xx ftw

But I think L7 is better.

L7 is like fully unlocked and many things can be done in order to mod it.
It lacks in expandable thing, But I believe that 1 GB is not so very less considering it is a cell phone. Same with the camera, comparing it has a VGA. But L9's 2MP doesn't sound much better. Also camera is not every thing. Also price matters.You can get L7 with lesser cost and can make it better than L9 with modding.
