Hey guys, I have a problem and I hope u can help me, I got a new ZN5, which is a great phone ,and I need to create a backup before starting to modding it, so I'm trying to use MMbackup, I got ZN5 loader for my Firmware (R6637_G_81_03_0ER) and I turned on the phone on bootloader mode, I hit read and when the process comes to CG48 I always get this message:
http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/4131/outmemory.jpg (http://img13.imageshack.us/my.php?image=outmemory.jpg)
http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/outmemory.jpg/1/w515.png (http://g.imageshack.us/img13/outmemory.jpg/1/)
Can you help me please? I want to make a full backup of my phone before doing anything, thanks in advanced, have a nice day!!

CG48 is phone memory, don't back it up using MMBackup.

Do I have to make a full backup of every CG except CG48? where should I get this one? from the stock firmware? thanks for the help!!
My best guess (since i dont have my ZN5 yet) and by looking at the hex addresses, CG48 is the internal 350mb of memory, like on P2K CG10 is the internal 50mb memory.

It could help to backup every CG alone, not all together. Don't backup CG48 (user memory) and CG37, use SBF-ReCalc and this two CGs from another stock ZN5 flash. Otherwise it won't work, critical error after flashing with the backuped CG37. SBF-ReCalc freezes with CG48.

There's no problem by doing that? I mean, If I get CG's from the stock, my backup will still be the same as the firmware I'm using right now? what contains CG37 by the way? thanks!!!

There is no problem with it, we have no other solution. CG37 is very small in size, about 300 KB. Don't know what it exactly contains, but nothing important. It means Firmware, Flex, LP etc. is original from your backuped phone. The only thing I noticed is if you use for example CG37 from chinese stock flash and you are trying to make an update with MSU the phone would be recognized as a chinese model. However, you can try to use CG37 from your phone but I doubt it works. At least it doesn't worked for me, only critical error (CG too long).

CG37 contains personal settings. Flashing stock one removes ur ringtone profiles etc.

I got good news! (I guess)
I was able to create all the CG's individually, except for CG48, which I always receive the "out of memory" message, what should I do in this case? at least I have almost all the CG's, can I use the CG48 stock firmware? is that safe? why Do I keep this error message just with CG48?

I have had this out of memory too, but can't remember what was the problem and how I managed to backup this CG. No time now to try. Probably you leave the message untouched and just wait some minutes, the tool will backup this CG. But it's useless to backup CG48. CG37 was never a problem.

Why is useless to backup CG48? what it does? also, I'll try to leave the message but I remember the phone rebooted after the message appeared, thanks!
I already told you why you cant backup CG48. Its the phones internal user memory, the 350mb. It contains all your pictures, music, etc stored in the phone, you cant back it up as its to big. Just flash stock CG48 is you must, it will delete all your stuff in the phone memory though.
If you ever had a P2K05 phone its the same as CG10

Ok, now I understand, now, is it possible just to make a working backup without CG48? as P2k phones where u could select which CG you'd like to flash into the phone?because right now, since the phone is new, I don't need to backup this one, since it just have the stock images, etc., or is really necessary to include it into the backup?

You'll probably never want to flash CG48 unless doing full stock reflash. Because you don't want get that data wiped.

So, a backup without CG48 is gonna work right?

CG48 backup is possible (I made it!), but you cannot flash it due to SBRecalc problems, that's why it is useless.

Well, I created myself the loader according to this stock file:
R6637_G_81.03.0ER_GCJPIXL000AA05C_PDS020_LP0003A_G IJXPIXL00AA_S070_E012_R001_G007_1FF
and my current firmware is:
AP S/W Version: R6637_G_81.03.0ER
BP Flex Vesion: GCJPIXL000NA05C
Language List: 0003
AP Flex Versions:
Secure Setup: E005
Setup: GAC_GENERIC_GCJXPIXLEVENTS_S027
Resource: R001
Logo: G005
There're some differences, but I can't find any stock file that's the same as mine :S

Guys, if you need loaders, check my stickied thread on 'Backing up the ZN5' it has all loaders you need. if it is missing a loader, tell me in that thread and ill get it updated.
Also, is the problem in SBF Recalc that's not letting us flash the CG48 back? If so, we can just use a different software to recompile the CGs into an MP.

And what different software is this?

Well we could use Flash&Backup. I will make a profile for the ZN5. I started a project to create a profile for Flash&Backup for the Zine but I never finished it. It's not very hard to do.

Flash&Backup are able to recompile the flash? Didn't know that. Where I can download the newest version?

I simply suggest not backing up the CG48 and leave the phone memory be and using BP FLEX from stock flashfile.

Ya until we get it all figured out, just leave the CG48 along like Skrilax said
