software needed

I used a software to edit the cl file and boot pix. That particular soft uses checkboxs to allow or not splash screen, or say, motorola logo pics. as for the outside screen you can disable animated gifs. Don't ask why I deleted this program, I wasn't even done with the "fine tuning". Alas, even if the overall result is Ok, I still need to work on the outer screen is open for I have an address instead of a gif when the lid is open.
I cannot remember the name of the soft, I'm a patient man, so if one of you guys, have suggestions or a name to propose, go ahead and give me the chance to finish that job. I think I'll be good at this, if I can get trough with this project. You guys are amazing, and the support you are offering, is just incredible as well. Plzzzz help !!!

Was it p2k Advanced Editor?

Advance editor is pretty close to what I'm looking for, but it will not solve the outer screen issue (the address of a file instead of a picture. Maybe someone can teach me to work this problem around. Any way there are a few things I'll be able to experiment with advance editor. But I still look for the lost software ( in the wake of the lost soft, a nice title for my quest. Aint it?) thanks to all of you guys for the time you spend thinking about this.

The other program which can do that is p2k commander, but it needs a bit reading into it. The outer display is called cl.gif, and can be replaced with any other true gif in the right size. There is a guide, change the cl.gif on the go, in the wiki, I believe.

thanks, in my case I have replace the cl.gif file with another but the size must be different this is why it doenn't show properly. And after a second tough Advance editor, is having almost everything a guy like me needs to mod his phone. Like you say, you have to go trough some reading but hey!! it is the name of the game ain't it

Not sure what program you are looking for, but make your cl.gif 96 X 80.
