just bricked my V551 any suggestions on how to get it back

i was unlocking it going thru the pds i downgraded and all was well i edited the pds and was loading it back in when flashbackup froze and nothing was happening i left it like that for like a half ahour then i picked up the phone and the battery fell out now my fone stays black but the computer still detects the phone. i tried to restore the original pds but nothing so far has helped it tells me that there is an error sending the loader. any suggestions . i know some1 w/ a smartclip but rather not go to them but i will only if i have to thanx in advanced

hmm can any1 help i try pds repair i also try to flash my original pds back in using flash backup 1 and 2 but i always get a sending loader failed i just need the loder to be sent to fux it can any1 help

did you try flashing the pds using P2k Easy?

Use Motorola Rsd Lite. Put your phone in bootloader mode by pressing * # and the power button all at once. connect cable and flash like u normally would

yes i tried p2keasy and it fails sending the loader same thing w/ rsd and my phone doesn't have boot loader any more there are no signs of life from the phone but it is detected by the computer. i'm going to exchange my cable i think that is wat caused all this mess i'm going to try GOT if i can get the damned thing to connect to the server

make sure your phone is supported by Got_Moto. unlocking it using Got_moto does not require pds repair i think. afaik, pds repair is for use to get out of sticky firmware or to revive a totally bricked phone.

yea i know my fone is as bricked as they come. i know i dont need pds repair(at least not anymore) to unlock it for that i was gonna give the fone to some1. but the phones pds memory was being messed with when the computer froze thats why i'm pretty sure it needs a pds repair but i'm not sure what firmware it has anymore and i cant get the phone into bootloader so can any1 tell me i'll post up what the firmaware ends w/

i have no cule anymore if its R47 or R472 i need to know this before i use GOT thanks in advance

i think the pds is not corrupt. it just became blank. if there's no bootloader, then can it be detected by RSD Lite as S-Blank Neptune? or FB3? also if it is not detected, try taking off the battery and put it again then just press the power button just like you turn on your phone (but there will be no lights to your LCD) and connect it again. if it can be detected then you still have a chance. just look for the right MP for your phone.

u know that is exactly what happens i havent tried connecting it to rsd but i will try when i get a new cable for it the iw as using is a piece of crap. thank you. i'll post my results

You will need to fully charge the battery before trying RSD to detect a blank neptune, the phone wont show any signs of activity and it may take a few tries, also, try connecting the phone with no battery, then while holding * + # insert the battery and wait a few seconds, if that fails, do the same while holding the BL sequence (* + # + power).

yea ive tried all that and it wont got into bl mode from what i see but i will charge the battery and try to get my cable to work. the i had was crap and is now broken so i gotta find a new one. i really appreciate you guys helping me out

you cannot go into BL mode if it is an S-Blank Neptune. you just do the trick by virtually turning it on (i mean imagining the phone turns on while pressing the on button) and it will be detected by RSD Lite.

i am having the same issue. I can see it as s blank neptune lte in rsd light by turning it on. but then what do I do?
