So I was sitting at a friends house yesterday playing some of my ringtones for him. I had my moto bluetooth headset on, and one of my ringtones played in my headset. The only that one ringtone, and it does it everytime. So I'm looking into it to try and figure out why it played through the headset, and if I can find a way to force others to do the same thing. I'll keep you updated, and if anyone has any ideas let me know.

Alright... So this is what I've worked out so far. I found out that the ring tone that played through my headset was most likely a nokia ringtone. (meaning it had the .amr extension) On your computer these will normaly have a quicktime icon as that is the program that will play them by default.
To test if that was the reason, I opened up SUPER www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html . And stuck a regular mp3 file in there. Set it up to convert it to .amr (note only narrow band worked on my phone. It will also pop up a warning about this.) I then took the converted file, and stuck it on my microsd card and played it. IT WORKED! However you must play the files by going to Sounds, not using the mp3 player.
This worked on my L7c From Cricket, i'll post more details later. Gotta run to work.

OK so I haven't had as much time to tinker with this as I hoped lately, But what I've noticed, is.. that although most of the converted mp3's with play through my bluetooth earpiece, they sound like crap for the most part. The quality of the converted file is well. shitty lol. Perhaps this will give someone with a little more knowledge than I a place to start I getting actual mp3's to play though.
I had this same thing happen to my L7c from uscc. I didn't think much of it at the time and have lost my headset since.
