Whats is ELF?:

Elf is the short form of Executable and Linking Format

Elf is a executable format that comes with Linux

Elf is executed directly, without intermediate processor like Java and so it works much faster than java and it has much more capability.

Installation:

NOTE: Only For RSA Removed Phones

Apply the patch; elfpack+register to your cg1
Create a new folder named "Elf" on your memory card. (b/Elf)
Upload; elfloader.lib, auto.run and the elf app. you have chosen to run elf's to b/Elf/.
Upload the updated library(elfloader) as they become available!

This is a firmware patch not an elf app.

ya soca i m already using d patched firmwar but stil d clock is not der.
it was present in danger mp. so i m just usn its pached firmware but i m usn difrent flex n so d clock is not there...

You have to upload the clock table to the skin folder and also patch the skins.

Look in the z3 bible, you will find the guide and there you will get the skiman script and instructions. Use that.

d clock i hav set is in d top right corner n d battery icon is next to signal icon. so iwant dat battery icon in d right corner as it was bfore. den next to it wil b d clck icon.

You must uncheck the cut empty bytes at end of code groups in f&b and make a firmware backup.

Just the cg1 is fine but make sure you add it to the other cg3,7 and 18.

I didn't want to install danger mp so i followed the guide given in link #16...the problem is that the link given in post #1 does not contain FBrowser.elf or ElfRunner.elf and my motomixer opens picture folder...Plz help guys...

Problem resolved repeated the whole process from the little guide written by anurag and links posted in same thread.Thanks neway.

yes even moto danger is RSA removed mp...good that you didn't flash it or your phone may have got :bricked:...didn't you get it all this RSA removal stuff is to gain the ability of applying patches to firmware and you see this moto danger as well as elf thing is not possible without applying patches...no you aren't an idiot you just learnt something and this way you will learn as you go further deep into discussions...

BTW:have you flashed your firmware back...your phones workin right??

but BEWARE Don't forget to back up ur PDS or you would never be able to revert back to non RSA firmware!!

also want to tell you that once you remove RSA you won't be able to start your phone without a PC but once you get a habit it won't run out of battery..:):):)

yes you can rather if you see that fw ull see that it contains only CG1 and3, by common sense u can replace others...

Ok, i have applied the patches - copied files from the archives in first post, etc. What shuld i do now?
- Oh, i forgot about elfloader.lib where to place it?

just keep all the stuff into place as arranged in the archives...as in you have a folder"a" and another folder"c"("c"may appear "-",may be sum archive error)...just blindly copy the files given in folders "a" and "c" into your phones "a" and"c" drives...you may replace the elfloader.lib in \c\mobile by one provided separately...now reboot,select world clock and see the magic...ok no suspense here, world clock will open motocmd there you can load and elf...try to open auto.run in notepad and you will come to know how to edit elf's to load at startup...i recommend infograph...it shows battery in % and i know whether to chrge phone before going out...

Ok. After reboot of my phone i can see the battery meter.
But when i go to world clock i can see Tunes 3.5 and some menu, but the text in it is made from boxes (like when u are on japanese website and u do not have japanese fonts) How to fix it?
Ok. I have edited some things - turned off tunes and i set motocmd.ini register=0x41A but when i try to launch it nothing happens (frozen in tools menu). When i press red button im getting back to tools.
HELP pls!

LOL! when ill randomly press some keys when ill press open world clock motocmd lauches!

So, i have an question - how to make motocmd be launched by some else button (motocmd.ini register=) and where to get english itunes elf?

sorry, not using tunes(have sum call bug or sumthing),so i use itunes java app...for past few days i was just reading motofan and applying sum more useful patches like show date n time instead of keypad locked message,clock in status bar(customizing it too,btw this patch in that 57 patches in english will cause your phone to reboot when u make or recieve a call...u can ask me wen u do it :) ) and many more...just visit l7 forums you may find tunes english there...if u want lng file in english...take it

PS:why dont you read sum posts and search forums before asking everything...i dont mind telling but u will understand more and will get more than u desire if u search l7 forums n all...also i may not be always correct...i tell you what worked for me...there may be sumthing better out there in forums:)

It's because you are using the wrong cfg file.
You have to use the world clock tunes.cfg.

Do you have your original PDS ? Upload it and then flash a full stock firmware.
