Apply as Ringotne?

Hey guys,

I just got my friend to bluetooth me two of his ringtones. They are mp3
-Put your hand up for Detroit
-Whatever you like

I'm having a problem applying them as ringtones. I see them in my sounds list, I can listen to them... I even see the "Apply as Ringotne" in the options menu. When I do that, nothing happens. My regular ringtone stays as the selected one.

I even went to Ring Styles in the Setting and the old ringtone is still there. When I go through the list of ringtones through Ring Styles, only the poyphonic ringtones are the ones I can choose.

What is there to be done now?

Back up your phone, as always.

Then, open the file system with P2kTools and navigate to the audio folder. Delete the two .db files and restart your phone, and that should fix the problem.

Make sure they are 128kb/sec MP3 songs, otherwise the Phone will see them, but won't play them.

But I found out how to do it. Actually I did some more research on the net and... Low and behold the answer was on modmymoto all along!

Actually, the answer wasn't specifically made for my problem. But it ended up working!
