I guess right now only FB can make a full backups of L9/L72.

Fb is the only for full and cent percent backup I think for many models.
also P2kTools VS 3.08 (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=6647) has an option to create full backups...(FYI)
i'm testing it as we speak!
testing is done! it works!!! i am able to use f&b to open the .shx file created and it splits the CGs perfectly!
the testing done was that i checked CG8 (as we all should know contains the boot screen/boot image) which i was able to see when i opened Motorola Bootscreen Replacer and used CG8 and everything(to my knowledge) works!
in conclusion the only draw back i can see is you have to manually place your phone into bootloader mode(remove battery, while holding * and # put battery back in) and run P2kTools VS 3.08 in flash mode then select the backup option. now the other thing i am questioning is when its down makeing the backup it doesn't restart your phone, rather it disconnects it from your PC and your phone has to be restarted the hard way(remove battery then put back in and power on) so i'm thinking it does what it supposed to do but doesn't restart it like f&b3 does. it works! try it! i'm going to try it with my L7 to test out the flashing capability so stay tuned!!!

HI there,,
I have a L9 that a friend gave to me that he couldnt fix. The problem is the following:
When i connect to computer RSD says in all the fields N/A. Is there anyway to flash this phone??
Boot Loader: OA.CO
SW: R452J_G_08.00.02I_RFDI
what does rsd lite detect the phone as? "s flash neptune" or "s blank neptue"?
You are sure of this 0A.C0 bootloader?
This L9 is sounding like it has a damaged PDS, most likely by his own actions somehow.
Could you verify the boot and s/w version please? Specically the boot version?
Try to flash it with RSDLite, and Flash&Backup3
If it is having a corrupted PDS, currently only a SmartClip can fix it.
