Memory cards?

The V360 says the memory can be expanded up to 512 mb, if you put a 1 gb card in the phone will it read it? thanks

I heard a 1 gb card works only it can't be formated in the v360. I see he (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4844) has 1gb and it works.
