I guess it was pundit who wrote in his Z6 review that the softkeys cannot be reassigned...and that he wanted to reassign the menu key...well that'd make life difficult if u wanted open the menu while playing music....wudn't it???

Is there any way to disable the carrier text? I just dont like it there, spoiling the beauty of the screen...

If there is a way to disable any or all of the carrier text or even blank out the date, I'd be the first to stand in line to find out how!!! The stupid date covers up the eyes of my lovely wife who adorns my screen! :)
