Okay so I've had this Razr V3 a little while but never had an SD card so never cared to upgrade it any special way.
NOW I HAVE 2GB AND 4GB SD CARDS.
The phone is nice but I have FOUR beefs with it, and I want to know if any custom firmware can solve these issues:
1. I have an adapter to go from mini-usb to 3.5mm earbuds to listen to music. RANDOMLY, playing music or not, the phone will do this odd crackling sound as though it's near a radio and it is super loud and annoying. Derr can this stop?
2. The lowest volume setting for music is STILL TERRIBLY LOUD. Does custom firmware have a lower setting?
3. NO SEARCHING through music. I wanna play a particular song I gotta hit down a billion times to get there. 400 songs on my SD card.
4. NO SDHC SUPPORT. I don't know if this can be solved through firmware alone, but my Nintendo Wii can use SDHC through homebrew, so I figure maybe here too?
-So these are the only things I really would like out of a custom firmware, so I was wondering if I can get them?
I know a lot about modding and crap from my Wii/DS and so the rest should come fairly easy to me if I can know it's worthwhile.
(I won't lose my contacts, service, pictures, videos, calendar events, or voice notes through the firmware edits, right?)
So can someone help me out?
