p2ktools3 problem

hey i need to delete a websession by making it deletable from my phone but when i try to get it from my phone it just takes a long time to load no p2kcommander no version will work on my computer so is there a current version of p2ktools i could use or is it a settings problem:zap:

Use M-Explorer with the patch to download the websession file to your computer. Then use P2kTools to edit it and save it. Then upload back to your phone with M-Explorer.

yeah i tried m explorer but the cache file didnt appear for me to use the patch

You have to have it checked in the settings.

Also... When I use it on Vista, and I have to put it in "My Documents" not Program Files, for whatever reason.

yeah thats another problem im using vista home premium and that option for the cache is already checked and it still doesnt work

hey look the data folder is created and the folder with random numbers is too but that folder is empty no cache file so where do i put the patch for m explorer or how do i get that cache file

Did you try what I said? Put M-Explorer in "My Documents" instead of "Program Files" and it should work better.

The "random numbers" is your IMEI, just so you know.

hey i got another question, what folder would i look in by using m-explorer to get those websessions?

The websessions are in the root directory /a/

ok i know but which folder in the a directory i got a/mobile then i got a whole lotta folders so which of the folders has the websessions in the a/mobile folder

That's what the patch does. It lets you see the files in a/

hey i got another prob when i got the websession file it seemed adjuistsble but when i reuploaded it to my phone it seemed to delete it cause now when i click on my websessions from my phone it doesnt do anything

Really? That's no good. Did you keep a backup of the websession before you edited it?

If not, it's not the end of the world, at worst you'd have to manually enter in the stuff.

hey i installed unimoto to get the websession file and reuploaded it using p2ktools3 it solved it i guess when i use unimoto its crap but p2ktools works so unimoto for getting websession and p2ktools3 to edit it

got another problem it seems like when i use the filecache patch it doesnt let me get to the a/ folder but when i open like regular it works so anyhelp would do good

Here's what you do: Open M-Explorer and click refresh. Then close M-Explorer. Put the patch in the folder named by your IMEI (the long number.) Then run the patch. Then open M-Explorer. Do not click refresh this time. Just double click on /a/ and you should see the files in it.

You have to run the patch every time M-Explorer refreshes the file list.

I don't think they'll screw it up, but to be safe, always back up at least CG2 before deleting files.

When I get a sec, I'll look for more details on those files.

hey i got another question when i load my phone with m-explorer it says my phone is there anyway to be able to change that like change it from "my phone" to something like "Halo master" or something like that
