any1 know how to save an edited f&b .prof file using notepad? any help would be much appreciated!!!

Ok, make sure that F&B is not running. Then open the profile using notepad and make your edits. Then save it.

Let me know if that doesn't work. If nothing else, I can post the profile needed.

ok i made sure f&b wasnt running opened the r3442_v3_06.prof file with note pad and added the whole cg8 line of code right after cg7 tried to save it and it tells me to make sure the path and file name are correct, it does it too me everytime and the only two options it gives me is to either save it as a 'txt' file or save under 'all files'

Are you using vista? Run Notepad as an administrator and try it again.

WORKED! thanx man that was killin me! i can finally get this thing going, so which guide should i go by the one in the guides section under v3re 'changing my bootscreen' or the one in the v3re threed. they are different from eachother
