So, here's what may be an odd question.

If I had a Verizon V3(c/m, not sure which yet) and wanted to use it with Alltel, would this be the simplest solution?

This will work, but if you've got USCC, then there's no advantage to doing it. You already have the same features the alltel flash includes. It'll be a big headache with no gain, plus there's no way for you to go back to USCC at the moment. This flash is meant for Verizon users, because the software verizon puts on their phones is so restrictive

Last year i Flashed my V3m back to the V3c firmware do to the horrible BT debacle that Verizon chooses to lock down for no reason.

Anyway, after i completed the flash i kind of wanted the Motorola software on it but i didn't want to lose my BT, or contacts again. So, if i currently have the V3c firmware on my phone, and want to get the V3m Alltel firmware on my phone, what would be the best way to go about it, would i need to use a Monster Pack Flash?

Would also have to flash the phone to the Verizon V3m firmware first, and the Alltel's, or just go straight to the Alltel V3m firmware from what i currently have [Verizon V3c firmware on my V3m]?

Also whats the issue with the texting on Alltels firmware, is it still an issue?

someone... please help. my moms gonna kill me. i only flashed it because i put a skin on it when i had the vzw firmware and the skin didn't work and i couldnt see the menu. how do i get my number back on it? do i have to call vzw and tell them the number under my battery?

Don't call verizon. Here is what you do. you find the verizon firmware, If you are using a v3m heres a link (http://rapidshare.com/files/6974874/VRZ_V3m_01.05.0AP.zip). go through all of the steps to download. Then flash it to your phone. now you have to do a .228 option 1. To get your get it now working you have t0 call *611 and talk to a service person and follow their instructions. Do not tell them that you flashed your phone.. Now your phone should be fixed

i have the most recent VZW firmware on my razr and i can make calls and txt message etc. , but i can't download "pix/flix messages", go on mobile web, access vCast, Get It Now, or "Sync Music". When i click vCast, nothing happens... the phone doesn't try to load it or it doesn't crash or anything. When i do get it now, it says Blah Blah Blah (554). When i do Sync in the My Music menu, it doesn't load the sync app. If i try to get a Pix message, it says "Unable to download Pix/Flix Message". When i go on mobile web, it says "for wireless internet services, dial *611". I'm sure there are other things i can't do, but that's all i know for now.

EDIT: I have a razr v3m, i first flashed from alltel to " VRZ_V3c_01.18.02P_PRIjj30506_MONSTER_01 " , then " NEWC_X_01.09.01P_XS4VRZ03V3M1NA0D.0R_Customer_Upgr ade " , then " NEWC_X_01.09.02P_Customer_Upgrade_ST1 " and i think i did a *228 options 1 and 2 on every firmware i had.

Nope........

For some reason unlike GSM phones you CAN NOT pull the BREW file off of the CDMA phones and convert it into a flash.

But if you find a way let us know.

And as for the most current version I think that you have the most current flash.........But you didn't include what phone or carrier in your post either.

Ah yes... I know that my phone has the most current version. I have a Alltel V3m.

The reason I was asking is that I have another V3m that only have ver 01.1A.00R and needs to be updated. I've had it taken to the store a few times but the people there cant seem to flash it..? (I just think they don't know what they are doing)
I was trying to find a way to flash the phone myself and was hoping there would be an easy way to do so.

Alright, I'm new to posting but here is my idea and what I'm going to do;

My friend has an account with alltel, its authentic and everything . I'm copying her information, turning her phone off, copying it into my phone with the most current flash we have here then dialing *228 and updating . It should simply see my phone as hers since I have her ID and everything .

I'll get back to you on this, but it should work fine .

I thought only verizon BREW apps worked for this phone. Is java able to be loaded on the Alltel platform?
I'll switch right now if so.
