how do I enter the subsidy code

Hello buddies!

well I got an V3re and I purchase the unlock code but I do not have any idea on how to enter it, when I put a foreign sim card on it, just shows "contactar, en servicio proveedor" or "contarct service provider" but no option to enter subsidy code

any Ideas on how to enter it!!!

Idk, it should prompt for subsidy code after a different providers sim has been put in. I tried for a while to trick phone into promting for code without a different sim but never found a way. Hopefully someone else can suggest something to try.

Leave the phone off for several hours. Even with the battery out. Then try the new SIM.

thanks for the tips, but what I did was leave the phone with the foreign sim card for several hours powered on, and suddenly it promted to enter the subsidy code..

Yes, leave it turned on, even on charger. It will ask sooner or later for the code. It can take days, even more then a week, but it will prompt for the code again. If you turn it off or take the battery out, the wauting circle starts fresh. Has been tried out by members on a different forum with a v8. It will run to the end of what's written in its program, timewise, then ask for yje code. And if the hex number is a high one in the phone, it can be anything from a few minutes to some hundred hours.
