moding phone few quick noob questions and p2k help

Hey all just bought a razr v3re go phone its great. But I want to delete some of the stock graphics and stuff taking up extra space. I also want to change the start up and shut down animation and change the att logo pic that is on the outside screen of the phone when it is open so my questions are

1. Is p2k Commander what I need to be using?
2. Where did p2k commander come from
3. When I go to install drivers that come with p2k Commander I only get the modem driver don't i need like for? I have read after installing the first driver windows should say found new hardware a second time and i just repeat the proses and it will install all the drivers?
4 what is flashing the firmware going to do for me? do i need to do that to get it to work in p2k commander if not what will it do to better the phone

that is a about the best advise you can take. the guides and a search button are your best friends. flashing the phone is gonna give you a different look, depending on what you flash. I think there is a glossary of terms around somewhere. that will help some maybe.

i use mexplorer to add and delete files. once you get connected, everything is pretty simple and straight forward. and i use FB&3 to flash with.

and don't forget to back up you phone before you do anything!!!
