Do you have a GSM R4515 v3r or a CDMA? Who is your provider?

It was orginally At&t but someone unlocked it for Tmobile.

And i'm using it for tmobile At the moment. So i'm guessing its GSM

the sw is: R3442A

Then its a v3re, we can mocve the thread to the v3re section in a while. Most v3re users are also reading the v3r section, so no problem of wasted time, not beeing in the right section.
When you start the phone with # and * kept pressed, while powering on, does the PC recognize the phone then as in Bootloader?

I just plugged it in and put it in bootloader. But no usb sign is showing on the bottom of my screen, but usually it says unknown device.

Moved to v3re. What does it say on the phone screen? Can you use a different USB port of the PC to have the driver reinstalling themself?

Download RSD Lite and see if it detects it. I'm guessing you deleted the Alkali skin, which is needed.

If that's true, you'll need to flash an MP.

Now it says Usb Device not recognized

If I am correct, you'll need to flash out of it.

Yea, i deleted that :/

So how do I flash out?

Also, earlier RSD did not detect it, then idk what I did but it started to detect it then it went back to not detecting it, and now it doesn't detect it.

Not in Bootlader mode either? # and * and pop the battery in to force it.

Flashing and connecting is explained in the guides for the v3re http://www.modmymoto.com/wiki//

Do you have a full battery? Are you trying to connect it in bootloader mode?

Not sure what you mean pop the battery into force it? But i had the battery already in and then went to bootloader and it says not recognized.

I'm not sure about full battery but yes it is in bootloader.

SHOULD MY SIM CARD BE IN OR OUT?

I meant, take battery out, then connect phone to USB. Now keep # and * pressed while inserting the battery back into place. That forces the bootloader. On screen of the phone you will have white script on black background then. RSD should detect the phone immediately, if all drivers are installed correctly.

Sim card doesn't matter, in or out is the same. Its not touched.

I did that and it recognized it as Motorola Flash and said ready to use, I opened RSD but it did not detect it then my phone started flashing Battery low, so now I'm charging it. But when i plug it in to charge it does the same flashing. So is it charging?

No, not in the phone sorry. You need to charge the battery in another phone, or a stand alone desktop charger.

Best would be to find someone with a Razr, but you could look here http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64614 its a bit adventurous though.

It works, I've tried it, but it takes some fiddling around.

You need a fully vharged battery, sorry. If the battery dies during flash, and that eats a lot of energy, its broken. But the flashing procedure is explained in the guides for the v3re, did you find them?

First, I recommend backing up CG2, so we can try to recover personal info.

Then flash anything in here:

For backing up you need the battery too. Yes, you can charge via bypass. For backup you need FB3.07 , its in the downkload section under software.

Wow, okay the bypass worked for a while then it stopped so i took the wires out and put back the battery and now it won't even turn on. I'm just buying a new phone. FML. Good thing all my #'s are on my sim.

try to take the battery to the store by itself and see if they will trade you with a charged one

You can charge up a battery the same way as that method. Have you tried that? Leave it on there for about half an hour.
