Ok, I have searched and searched forums and websites for this information, called to their shop, asked their salespeople ... and got nothing.

Does anyone here, by chance, now how the hell to set up GPRS on my L7? I use True Move (ex-Orange).

Advice: Don't come to Thailand to live if you want aftersales SERVICE!

try this:

*goto 'Web Access>Web Sessions>[New Entry]'

*create a profile for WAP,

WAP Settings:

Name : WAP

Homepage : http://wap.orange.co.th

Service Type: WAP

Proxy 1 : 010.004.004.004

Port 1 : 8080 or 9201 (try any 1)

Timeout : 15 mins

Username 1 : orange

Password 1 : orange

Speed(bps) 1: 9600

Line Type : ISDN

GPRS APN : wap

MMS Settings:

*create profile for MMS in the same way.

Name : MMS

Homepage : http://mms.orange.co.th:8002/

Service Type : WAP

Proxy 1 : 010.004.007.039

Port 1: 8080 or 9201 (try any 1)

Timeout : 15 mins

Username 1: orange

Password 1: orange

Speed (bps) 1: 9600

Line Type : ISDN

GPRS APN : mms

Thanks for that LS, however I still cannot get Messenger or Opera to work. I shall go to a shop and insist they fix it up for me.

so does ur default browser work fine??

go to one of the shops in MBK or Pantip Plaza.

Default browser is fine and yes Panthip or MBK would be best ;)

try playing around wid the settings of opera and messenger. if u can use ur default browser then i guess the settings in opera r not correct. check dat.

ok. make sure u set the wap connection as default . for doing dat, select the wap connection and pressmenu button, then 'Set as default'. then try using opera. try using this version (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=396) of opera.
