Screen Broke - Need contacts off simcard.

Is there software I can use to read my contact list off of my sim-card? I do not have another phone available to put the sim in so that is not an option. Need software please!! Thank you guys in advance~!~

well, you can either do it via motorola phone tools or via a program available in download section here in M3 .
You need to be patient to find out through browsing the pages of WINDOWS softwares pages.
If you can't find out , then post here.

The software you suggest does read the phonebook but only from the phones internal memory and not from the simcard. I need something that can read the contacts saved to my simcard.

motorola tools should read the contacts from sim and phone.!!!
Well, if not , then the only way to get sim numbers is to borrow someone's phone infront of him for half an hour and take down the numbers thoroughly.
Nothin to woory about, You can take a backup of complete phonebook and datebook, via motorola phone tools. And can restore it later.
If it still not works for you, then post. :)

Where do i go to access the feature to read from sim card in motorola tools? on the left is the contacts option but it only reads the two contacts i had in the phone memory and not the sim's list. I do not see any extra option to read from the sim in there anywhere either.

Also--- DO NOT have a friends phone to use for this.

open motorola phone tools -> phonebook -> read -> it will read from phone and sim,as shown on screen -> save it -> go to file -> export -> exportvin .xls format(comma format ) -> done

ok so p2ktool 3.0.9 would get an error when i would read the contacts but i dl'ed 3.0.8 and it worked. I now have the numbers I need in front of me.

I just tried what you said to try in moto tools and it only reads the phone memory contacts... oh well. Atleast i got the numbers i need.

Here is what my screen looks like when I do exactly as you asked above. Also this is where it goes every time I read the contacts from phone. Notice only the two numbers listed. Those two were in my phone memory, where as i have something like 30 numbers in my sim card which i retrieved using p2k tools. I am using the latest version of moto-tools. 3.21d :guide:

followed... by BACKUP
Motorola tools v5.. i dont use . thats why ...

v5 has only good graphics interface...
