hey, shack! im not sure why you're having problems with MSnap, oh wait! i forgot im using screenmoto haha get it here: ScreenMoto 1.0 (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=27471)
it works great and its FAST hahaha just create a new folder, put ScreenMoto in it, plug your phone into the Computer and S.M. SHOULD say "Motorola USB modem"...like this:

then just hit "Start"
http://i1009.photobucket.com/albums/af218/jdyates/Untitled1.jpg
and you will see a picture start. going from top to bottom. when its done (wait for about 10 seconds after it stops, just to make sure.) you can close out ScreenMoto and wherever you save the ScreenMoto.exe, there will be a .bmp screenshot of your phone. just like MSnap :)

Yeah, I agree with trying that program.
In any case, about Msnap, I've noticed I get errors when I have P2kTools or RSD Lite running.
I've been trying it this morning and this is what I do:
I have to unplug the phone from the computer, close all modding programs, open Msnap, connect the phone, and click capture.

I don't know what is going on here....I uninstalled moto drivers, reinstalled, uninstalles msnap, reinstalled msnap and currently on a search for Moto Drivers with none detected and bought a new usb cable and this is what I get.....??????? WTF....No drivers and a new cable, how can this be.....Gonna' run some other moddn' programs, see what happens....Oh, with the Self-installing P2K Drivers from this site, there was a Moto-Connect Detection thingy that was creating a lot of conflict with M-Explorer and Skiman last night, thats why I uninstall it....I still don't have that P2k Drivers installed....??? I know you gonna' say they have to be there for programs to operate.....So go ahead and tell me...Anyway its working again and thanks for the effort.....Ok after further checking out, now RSD Lite is recognizing my phone and so is Msnap, P2KCommander...Must have been cable trouble...Dont understand why some programs would recognize and some wouldn't....Must have been a certain pin in cable bad that MSnap and RSDLite have in common?????

Never thought I'd be quoting myself.....Hope this helps others as well......After pulling out what little hair I have left, I found out the conflicting program deal that was causing my problem with MSnap.....Just realized that P2KTools was starting up with computer startup, didn't know it was running behind the scenes...There was no indication of it visibly....I was in the startup programs looking around and noticed P2KTools was included in it....Simply turned that off......TaDa

Thanks for sharing. :) That is something which is easily forgotten at times. I had that happen with p2k commander, but at least had a little icon in the taskbar, which triggered me in the end.
