V3re Mic Problem

I can hear them but they cannot hear me. Everything else is alright.

Can you record sound? If not, you may need to replace the microphone.

Does it work with a hands free head set?

I did a recording and upload to my computer and volume up. I can hear sounds of my voice but way lower than the background noice. Hands free, no. You can hear them talking on the speaker but they cannot hear u.

If replacing is required, is there any quides somewhere in this forum?

I don't know which gaintable editor works on the v3re. P2K Tools has one build in, you could have a look if the Microphone is set to zero.

I had the same problem with v3i.
Its a hardware problem for me.
I had to go for mic change.

JABBACKS, may also have the same problem.

Not if he has the same problem while on a headset. :) Why would the mic on the headset also not work?

If he is also havin same problem with headset, then it is surely s/w fault.
Not so confident.
But utmost.

And , try to replace a stock gain_table file as DUMBA said !!!!!

Thanks guys for all ur time and effort spent on this. FYI, I threw away this board. I have another board from broken phone to monkey around with. Using 3m's V3re repair.
