Unlocked. Branded tmobile. Need AT&T

I bought this phone "unlocked". I was not informed that I was buying a phone that is branded tmobile. My task now is to change to something that works fully with aT&T.
After pulling my hair out over this subject, reading , reading, and then reading some more, I think Im just about ready to to do this.

My plan is to attempt flashing an mp. I'll start out using p2k tools to save my phone data and then flash the mp. I hope Im successful at that.

One problem is deciding which mp to use. Ive looked at "kristal white and iphone"(interesting), also R3442A_thomb_ATT_vista++". Both at this site in the download section. Any comments, or perhaps a referral to something else would be appreciated.

Im also just a little concerned and confused about my S/w ver. being slightly different from most others. Will that be a problem. Ive seen conflicting statements on the subject.

if your s/w version begins with R3442A, then you have a v3re. any v3re MP will work on your phone. I recommend flash&backup3.7 for backing up. you may also use this program to flash s/w to the phone. There has been problems reported with RSDlite v4, so i would DL an older version, preferably between 3.6 to 3.9.

Just like you said. I used f&b 3.07, did a complete backup and and then flashed the "Kristy white-iphone" mp. It worked flawlessly. Phone is working fine.

Only thing left to do now is figure out how to set up the web browser properly for ATT.

try uploading the websessions into your phone. use p2ktools3 and click the button that says websessions:)

this one is for Cingular, but it should work the same for ATT Here (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=758)
