Pulsing blue light

Can anyone explain how to turn the pulsing blue light down at the bottom of the phone on or off? I can't seem to find it in the manual or in any of the phone menus. It pulses on and off when the phone is plugged into the charger but when it's unplugged and turned on, it doesn't pulse at all. Anyone know?

it pulses when you receive a call or txt and when it is plugged in.

you cant turn it down, there is a seem edit to turn it off

Thanks. As long as it's not on all the time draining my battery, then I'll let it be. It's kinda neat.

It stops pulsing when the battery is fully charged.

Here's the SEEM edit to turn it off when charging.
SEEM 0032_0001: offset 9D - bit 3: Blue LED while charging (1 on, 0 off)

Can turn off the alert after receive msg? mean that it will cont beep after receive a msg until it has been read. anyway 2 turn it off...

:crazy1: OK, so I remembered that the various ring styles have an entry called "reminders" to set reminder alerts for messages that you receive.

So try this. Go to Settings>Ring Styles>xxx Detail>Reminders and set them to "off". (xxx=Loud, or Soft, etc.) The 3 choices are:


Beep
Vibrate
Off

You will have to do this for each ring style (loud, soft, vibrate & ring, etc.) if you switch back and forth.

I think this will turn off those annoying periodic "beeps". Sometimes I even have to go back to the V3x Owner's manual:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

:wave: thax ebentley....the v3x owner manual is omos useless cause most of the thing it mention is very very brief......u should publish one complete user manual for v3x :thumbsup: :biggthumpup:
