I also noticed my Flash & Backup doesnt have a profile for the Z3, Hope I'm not getting in over my head with this, but I just love that phone

It will probably take 7 to 10 days to arrive, Army mail is slow getting here in Iraq, as soon as it gets here I'll try to make a full copy of everything with the programs I have, F&B & RSD and see what happens , I really like the looks of this phone and the sliding keypad is a really nice thing. I tend to forget locking the keypad on my L7 so there is no telling if I have made some crazy calls or not :grin:

there is one available now. i saw it in the other forum. what he did was connect his phone with motorola software update and the monster pack will be sent to firmwares folder. he copied the Monster pack first before he closed the motorola software update program.

so it's possible to make a backup of Z3 if it can connect to FB3. we only need the it's loader.

If you have FB3 instsalled locate the Flash&Backup3 folder... My folder happens to be in c/program file/Randoms developments
Once located that folder place the 2 profile files in the profiles folder and the ldr file in the loaders folder...
Then once in FB3 you will be able to select the RIZR Z3 phone...

Thats cool now all I need is my phone ... Sounds like MP's are not far away. I'm curious if my Flash and Flex will be much different that the info you posted ..

Z3 have the same start and end address with K1. the only different is the RamDldr, which can be acquired by splitting a MP.

well, chick1440 provided us the loader and profile for Z3 so there should be no worries for now. you can make a backup of it and you can flash it with RSD Lite 3.1 and 3.2. can't be recognized by 3.0 i guess.

Is RSD 3.2 backward compat with the rest ?? I hope so .. Ya looks like the RIZR will be getting some MODS posted now that we are able to connect and flash, Anyone working on seem edits yet ?

i don't have a Z3 but i'm studying on it. waiting for this model to come out. afaik, Z3 can only be detected by RSD Lite 3.1 and 3.2 and FB3. other p2k programs still can't detect. might be a new p2k driver needed for this model. i studied the flex, seems like you can edit only the splashscreen*** blah blah gifs in the phone using a java app that can read phone directories. it's SU and SD is different compared to other models. it is nto custwakeup.gif or custgoodbye.gif.
