View Full Version : Did I brick my phone? Please help!

I was trying to unlock my Cingular phone and the program froze along with my Razr. Now, all I am getting is a black screen. Don't ask If I backed up because I did not. So, I tried to flash it and I get the following message:
ERROR: Incompatible superfile for Subcriber unit state
ERROR: The superfile selected is for reflash. You must use a rom superfile with blank Subscriber units.

Does this mean my phone is doom? Please help!!!

I was downgrading boot loader when this happened. I did one phone without a problem, but second one froze up during process. The name of the program is 8.26 Downgrader v2.

i thought i bricked mine tonight. and i had success w/ Poetic_Folley's help earlier. i needed to flash my V3 w/ RSD Lite and a Monster Pack.

hold * and # and power it on. then load a monster pack with RSD Lite.

Yeah, that's the fix in most cases. Glad to hear you got that fixed, because a bricked v3 is not cool.

Then, I tried to flash it with R374 G 0E.42.10R thinking that could fix it, and that's when I got the message.

and i have no idea whether or not my fix will work for that, seeing as i haven't done that b4...downgrading the bootloader that is.

Yes, That's exactly what I did. I am going to try a MP as suggested by others, but I would like a Cingular MP. Can you guys direct me to one? Thanks in advance.

If you want to downgrade your bootloader from 8.26 to 07.D0 use this http://www.motox.info/showthread.php?t=18133, it's safer (less to go wrong).

I am sure that I bricked my V3. I think I have tried everything. Can someone help.

have you tried flashing a stock MP?
make sure you have the same BL

Okay, I think I have but it will not hurt trying it again. Can you point me in the right direction. I can get my phone to connect and boot in bootloader mode and I am using RSD LIte and Flash Backup 3. But whenever I load anything it says succesful but I still cant power on. I tried for a couple hours last night with no luck. I am running Bootloader 7.D0 on my phone.

have you tried taking the battery out for a few minutes and then try to fire it up?
