hii, i´m new at this.. first sorry for my bad english.. Hi from Argentina!.. i have the Z6 and the exact problem, the volume in the headset is to low.. i can´t even hear nothing in the metro... is it possible to do something for this yet?

Use bluetooth headset S9 for a better sound.Z6 sound output on headset isn't good.My sister's Z3 beats it easily when using the same headset.Motorola should name Z6 with Rizr not Rokr and Z3 as Rokr not Rizr...:D

no guys its possible. ftp your phone with the new maxi mod flash and go to ezxlocal/download/appwrite/setup there is the system.cfg now you can change heapsize volume and everything you want just try it it works for sure i made it myself on my phone.

I have installed maxireflash which enables ftp and I have tried editing setup.cfg but I could not find any option affecting volume.
Please let me know which setting should I edit.

im sorry it was the ezx_mp.cfg ;)
there you can set up the volume i have it on 22 and normally it is something about 13 i think.

we have to modd ezx_mp.cfg but the one that is in the folder Usr, not in EZX_LOCAL but usr cant be modded because its read only,but its obvious.when we modd ezxlocal,the changes are applyed in ezxuser automatically but the files in usr are notn changed.
and its obvious cuz it cant be so easy to modd the phone.
i wonder if under linux decompressing cg43,we can modd usr

You can mod CG43 under Linux, it is another CG which have squashfs after CG52, I tried everything & failed or got minimal difference in sound.

cfg files contains configuration only to kernel or say here inbuilt qt applications. What if there is no sound after 7th level in application itself ? !

i have awuestion.when u ,veno9m,modded that value from ezx_system.cfg,and u use the phone speaker and u hear it louder,if u decrease the volume,what happens?

the strange thing is, there is a default config volume in mp.cfg and a speaker volume in system.cfg so i suppose its the system.cfg. i set it to 14.
and it doesn´t matter if you modd from ezx_user or ezx_local in both are exactly the same files.
there is a second file in the zip called mp.cfg you can use it for better bass and sound. you can try it and then tell me if it works but make a backup of the old one first

i cant even conect it to ftp to put the backup file of system and mp, and i cant unlock myn cellphone(keyboard) i unlick it and it gets locked in the moment.
fix that

keyboard block was set to 0.1 seconds(i wonder why it was there and who chnaged the normal value to 0.1 secs)

now,i have maxi and silver 2.5 ,now i fixed it,prewsing and presisng the buttons as fast as i could,i made it and unlocked it.
mm,hear this,the time in wich the keyboard gets blocked wast set to 0.1 SECONDS!!!
a value that doesnt comes in default with z6,then,the language was in greman and the connection was changed to memory card,so i wasnt able to chanmge it to modem(because of the keyboard) and then change the file to the original

I'm sorry,guys...But I think ezx_mp.cfg has nothing to do wit the sound.It just set configuration for media player not sound.There must be ezxvolumetable.cfg in usr/sysqtapp/sound.But it's not there.Maybe RSA Removal will reveal the secret.

mp.cfg has MANY to do with sound. you can set there every settings for the equalizer;)
but if you say so, please define sound!
sound is for me the bass and the voices. are the basses strong but clear and so on.
its not how loud your phone is!

he is right, mp.cfg controls basses, 3D Audio, Spatial audio,and others(this helps sound and "makes" it better in a way) its lilke he says,an equalizer(a lil bit unconfortable to mod :P) thats why we need one to control with the phonee.
but another thing is SOUND. i mean,higher or lower sound,this has to be in system.cfg as i saw (speaker volume or smthng like that,but i couldnt make it work(i reached like 50 with the avlñues and nothing))

hey,i think that,system.cfg is of course,like capability of the phone and mp.cf is how the phone is NOW,for ex,if u left the volume of the music in 5,u would see 5 instead of 7.
the thing is that,what if we put 50 in system and 50 or 40 in mp??

smthng i hate is how slow it is,for example,when i hide the Media Player,or when y press BACK,or when i am looking for songs in the mplayer. very slow.

maybe when you change the skin or set up the heap size higher (mine is on 4mb) then your phone gets sometimes faster. but it´s kinda strange that the phone is so slow because it has a 500mhz processor in it :confused:

no i have the reflash because i get many times problems with my language; i´m german;) and with heapsize i mean the same as RAM in our PCs you can make it higher then normally your phone must get faster.

yeah thats in ezx_system.cfg . there you can change the heapsize with a number from 1 to 6.

1 - 512 KB
2 - 768 KB
3 - 1024 KB
4 - 2048 KB (default)
5 - 4096 KB
6 - No limit

i have 5 and no problems the system is running a bit faster and i think it copies the files much faster;)

there is the ezx_system.cfg open it and there is java heapsize;)

@zapataso:i don´t know exactly what the heapsize is but i think its something for outsourcing. when your game lags you have too less of it. for example you should use 4096kb heap for emulators to run smooth

yea tell me about it!, it didnt end there, the thief started calling my contacts messing with my friends even my gf thought it was me that became mad :D but well hey venom i finnaly by touching made alkali work again dont ask me what i did i dont know for god but its almost like its predecessor, also i read on the spanish mod there were some trouble with calls making afuzzi sound or something like that, i havent made any calls..
