if you get stuck in bootloader mode then flash it back with telstra it shoud then work.

(you will not be able to flash it with ATT ANYMORE ONLY telstra)

I know but shouldn't we be able to flash back to att? Anyway, my V9 now is saying "battery low cannot program", it failed the flash. I sure hope I can fix it. What do you suggest?

(one that already comes in full battary)

and flash again.

The Telstra flash does not appear to be sticky in the tests i have done

What errors are you getting when you try to flash ATT, as i am able to flash the att firm to a Telstra v9 and then back to Telstra firmware

for some reason telstra keeps on transfering bytes all the time when am not using browser and for att it dosent transfer bytes when not on the internet.

Yes I would like to know this as well. Maybe it will assist us in flashing back to at&t.

This is a major problem with Telstra firmware not to be able to flash back to AT&T. It also bothers my phone which shows only boot info (black screen).
It looks like my phone lots it's IMEI number (it is not visible in Flash&Backup).

The question is... Is there any way to get the IMEI back? Maybe it will help with getting the AT&T firmware back.

I am having the same problem as well. I cannot flash to anything but Telstra. have tried several others including what should be the original AT&T, but none of them work. Having trouble figuring out how to configure the Telstra settings to use AT&T network -- browser, VM, etc.

Can somone please confirm for me this:

I have an AT&T V9, but I live in Australia and am with Telstra NextG. If I flash my phone with the Telstra firmware, and for some reason, I decide to flash back to my AT&T firmware, is that possible.

Will I encounter any errors?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

So is it just a matter of time waiting for someone with the Telstra V9 UNLOCKED Monster Pack?

Cheers.

You can already download Telstra unlocked software, but that's not necessarily going to unlock the phone if it is locked to a single provider. You'd still have to call the provider for the code.

Moreover, it is not the software's "lock" that is preventing flashing other software onto a Telstra V9. It's a combination of an RSA issue and the fact that different versions of the V9 software have the code groups in different memory locations.
