Just for fun I connected my V3re and let P2k run it's unlock routine to see what would happen, if anything. It did connect and here is the log "Connecting to phone ...
Connected to: 'Motorola Flash'
Connected OK
Bootloader version: 0CC1
ERROR: Please make TESTPOINT on phone for this model!"

The phone model I chose was V3r.

Since I know where my test point is and how to get to it, if I followed the "V3R Unlocking (and bootloader downgrade) Guide", would I actually downgrade the bootloader and it would work or brick my phone?

Any help would be appreciated as I know there are a lot of people out there with this same model looking for answers. Flash&Backup worked great with no issues by the way.

You would probably be the first to try. I'm sure alot of us would like you to try it and post results, but there's a risk involved. It's your decision...

try the unlock and pds repair. if it doesnt work, warranty it.

If it was new I would already have tried for sure but it's used. Bought 5 when I was on a business trip in Brazil.

If it did brick would I be able to apply my back up from F&B??

not likely. it would probably sit until got moto supported that model.

Yust google got moto and you'll see, we cannot link to them here because they are hosting stuff which under US law is illegal to distribute. That is sad, because they are good otherwise, lol.

I can't get p2k easy tools to run on my windowxp laptop. why?

i also tried it on my V3re and p2k easytool said the same thing....theres an unlocking thread that i think more people should post in so that maybe we could figure out more stuff about the V3re.....

In any case, the question is why it won't run at all, lol.

Do you have AVG? Uninstall it. Still not working? Get another copy of P2kET (I recommend 3.9)

But, as mentioned, it won't do you any good on the V3re.
