ok, here's the issue...i bought a broken e398 off ebay, repaired it (thanks Ivan and Sid), cracked the PDS using Toweq's method, and itunes still won't recognize it. Itunes actually starts up when i connect the phone in memory card mode, but isn't found by itunes....i tried reinstalling itunes too....for the record, i'm using itunes 6...

i just tried uninstalling itunes 6, and installed 4.9....still no go...

does it have anything to do with the itunes_pds.init file in the a/mobile/system?

Hmm. Where's our e398 geniuses at. What happens when you delete that itunes file and restart?

sometimes iTunes will recognize ur phone sometimes it doesn't...
the best iTunes easy to be recognized (latest)
is the GraftMoto 32000+ songs...
after that.... haven't try...

have you delete folder /b/iTunes/ on your TF?
sometimes i get this error and i dlete the folder so itunes can detect my TF again with new database.

If itunes doesn't work you could always use mototunes. Its much easier in my opinion.
