How do u intstall a skin

bare in mind that i m new to this ok i have p2k commander n all but whenever i make the new file and download the dat. and ski. files the skin still does not work help me pleeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzz:

Make sure you're trying to change the skin in Menu>Settings>Personalize>Skins and not Menu>Multimedia>Themes.

Whoa. He's just trying to help. Cut the guy some slack. OBVIOUSLY, people have tried to do it in Themes. That's why he's saying it.

It happens quite a bit. Glad you're not having that problem though. The only other suggestion I could make would be to make sure you're retarting the phone after creating the New Folder in P2K Commander and loading the .dat files and .ski file in there. Also, make sure the New Folder is named exactly like the name of the .ski file. For instance, XPBlue.ski would need a New Folder created named XPBlue.

Depending on where you downloaded the skin from, there may be an install file in the folder itself. If this is the case, you only need to have P2K Commander installed, and have the phone plugged in.

DON'T START P2K!!! Just plug the phone in, and double click on the install file in the skin's folder. It will start P2K Commader automatically, and install the skin. If it doesn't restart the phone by itself, you need to. Then sit back and enjoy your new skin.

skin i download sometimes dont work if there isn't an install file...i think it's more simple if all skin creator include an install file..it makes thinks easier...:D

you need the correct mma_ucp order . . . you can edit your menu order with p2k menu editor
