I just got my new razr and I would like to know how to upload Java Games and stuff.
Mainly Java Games. I tried a lot of things but I can't get off the ground. I installed the drivers from MotoDev and that's about all that's worked for me so far. I tried using PK2Tools but I'm clueless.
Any recommendations for software or suggestions would be great! Thanks Guys!

read this guide http://modmymoto.com/guides/installingjava.php
and you can get tons of free apps on getjar

I tried that program but it wasn't recognizing my phone, and it froze and the install button never came up.
EDIT:
Error Message "Unsupported platform"
Do I have to install a certain driver or something? This is really frustrating me.

what s/w version do you have, maybe you have a v3r which looks exacly like a v3 but has diferent sofware such as R3443U2, R4515, or the new v3re R3442A, you can find out your s/w version by dialing *#9999#, or holding the * and # while turning on the phone

Moved you to the right forum, you will find more and better answers here to your questions than the R374 forum...

Thanks.
I can't find a single program that is recognizing my phone. Can I wipe my drivers and start again. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
yes try reinstallign your drivers or using a different port i find that the ones in the back of the pc are better

Yeah, I've had trouble with these front ports before. I think the back ones work better 'cause they are built into the motherboard.
Will edit after.
EDIT:
No real difference.
The guys in another thread said they uploaded a java game with midway by using Java App Loader. I don't have this in my Java menu how can I get it?

Austin is weird as ever!... LOVE IT HERE!
I am from Denver originally so Austin feels like home in a lot of ways, the tree hugger mentality, the friendly folks, beautiful countyside and so much warmer than Denver is in the winter.
Why would you ever move away?

I am having this exact same problem with the exact same phone and service provider. I was told to do a seem edit but no matter what I do when I use P2kman it says
USB: IO Time-out
CMD: Data write fail
Edit: I switched programs to P2KToolsVS 3.0.8.864 http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=6647
(this is all assuming you have already followed other tutorials to set up the drivers to connect the phone to your computer)
Plug your phone up with the usb cable
load up the program
go to seem edit
it should have 0032 in the seem box and 0001 in the rec box
click the load from phone
then go down to the line that says 00x0040
now over to the box that has 03 above it and highlight it
now in the bottom area click the 0 box under bit operation
now click save to phone
now click the box in the top left corner and click the restart phone option
On your phone you should be able to go to java settings and have java app loader there
now you can follow any tutorial on how to load java apps to your phone.
