how to unlock w218?

i'll be getting a motorola w218 as a give away but its locked to a network. how do i unlock this phone? i hope it doesnt involve a testpoint.

most of the Wxxx series are Compal, look for Compal tool or DM tool, I dont know much right now but i did just win a C168, Ill share all I get out of it :D

thanks i found a copy but i dont know how to use compal. do you know where i can get some user's manual? do i need to download any additional stuff?
