Huh? Necitony, the USB feature is a datatransfer connection and is always enabled on a v3r. You can also choose Bluetooth, that doesn't switch USB off on a v3r.
why dont i have usb settings on mine then i assumed he was asking because on the l7 it has 2 usb settings data fax mode and memory card so i was assumign that the usb option was only for memory slots

Yep, you are right and because it doesn't have the slot, it has it always on, and doesn't need switching, or turning on, or off.
thanx for clearing that up dumba ur the best

This is a V3re, and mine doesn't have a USB setting either.
Since I connect via USB all the time.... is this a feature I need?
Only items in the connection menu are: Bluetooth and Sync
the usb setting on this phone is already set on one enabling this feature will do nothign for you at all dont worry about it

i know an easy fix to this, ok open p2k tools, once it recognizes your phone, go to menu editor, click 'from phone' button, double click settings in the new list, double click connection, single click bluetooth, click the add item button, and scroll through the list until you find USB connection, double click it, now click 'to phone' button, you will get a pop-up, click ok, go to phone picture in the upper left corner of p2k tools, click it, then on the drop down menu click restart phone, done :D
i hope my post helped
