I compiled a funlights pattern file with funlight editor 2.2.7. It WORKS! WMwinn got the clublights working, and I added some more patterns to the clublights, so here is the working funlights file for the v3re - s3442a.

Yes ring lights are working, I have a question, in my menu for the ring lights the names are different than those in the pattern file. Is this a change from a skin I have applied, would I have to edit the menu file to change this, will it appear correctly on an unmodified skin.

Please let me know if this file works for anybody. It works on my phone with the v3 seems, but I also used the funlight editor, with the option to change the seem for the rhythm lights option, I still can't figure this part out yet.

Ringlights and Eventlights are working on my V3re!!

The ringlight menu may not be accurate, but the phone is lighting up with different patterns upon a received call. My favorite is Solar.

well only thing i can think of is something with the v3r3 seems maybe renamed the patterns for you but the v3re is comign along very nicely

TJ - I don't have any experience with rhythm lights. How to test if they're working?

Do you have the Rhythm Lights menu available on your phone under Settings|Personalize. If not, I think I used Funlight Editor 2.2.7 to enable this menu, I'm not sure, because I did a lot of stuff trying to get it to work. And I don't know which seem edit actually brought up this menu.

Here's the advice I've been following for funlights:

Funlights
Q. What is it?
A. Flashing keypad and bluetooth indicator when call is received to phone.
How to enable it:
1. Seem 0032_0001 offset 63 bit 2 [checked]
2. Upload FUNLIGHT to /a/mobile/audio/ folder with p2kman (or equivalent program)
3. Menu>settings>ring styles>ring lights

Event Lights
Q. What is it?
A. Like ringlights but for sms/vm (instead of incoming calls)
How to enable it:
1. Seem 0032_0001 offset 65 -bit 0 [checked]
2. Menu>settings>ring styles>event lights

Clublights
Q. What is it?
A. clublights make the inner and outerlcd/keypad sound sensitive (they flash/pulse to sound)
How to enable it:
1. Seem 0032_0001 offset 63 bit 3 [checked]
2. Menu>settings>personalize>rhythm lights
**settings range from 1-7 "1" being the most sensitive**

No problem getting all the phone menu options to appear on the v3re. For clublights (rhythm) - I haven't been able to see this in action. Is the phone supposed to blink in sync with loud music being played? Does the flip need to be opened or closed?

Here's a slightly modified version of TJ's working funlight.pat for the v3re.... includes club lights!!

You must select the NOCTURNE pattern for club lights.:thumbsup:

Xploder is right... I edited the file using Funlights Editor.

I deleted some extraneous clublights files, and moved (01) up to the top of the list. That's why you have to select NOCTURNE to enable clublights.

Thanks wmwinn, I edited the clublights some more, so now there are patterns for all of the menu options, now we have a fully working funlights file for all to enjoy. I uploaded it to my attachment at the top.

The clublights work but the ringlights crash the phone when somebody calls. I have a v3re

Thanks finally someone else had the same problem as me. I have been waiting for someone to say this effected them, I have made an updated version that works, but you have to select the light that flashes when you highlight it, for either clublights or for ringlights. Ok, this all worked for my v3re pretty much, but when I am using clublights and the nocternal setting, only the LCD flashes. Like, I tried a bunch of different pat's and used the funlight editor, and everything works except the keypad lights on the clublights (under the "rhythm settings".

My keypad lights work for the ring lights just not the clublights! any ideas?

1) Download P2KToolsVS 3.0.8.864 from the download section

2) Open it and go to Hidden settings -> Get values -> Multimedia -> check CLUB_LIGHTS, CLUB_LIGHT and ALERT_LIGHT -> Set values

3) For the Event Lights will you have to edit the seem book. Try reading this guide http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51267 5. P2kTools (How to do seem editing). And look in this same topic for the Event Lights seem edit offset and bit.

4) Download P2K Commander 4.9.D or newer. Select /a/P2K Phone on the upper left side and wait for it to load the files from your phone. Refer to the audio folder. Make a backup copy of your funlight.pat and then delete it. Upload the one that the guys attached in this thread. Restart your phone. Done!

Note: I got this working :singingred: on my V3R3 also, but you have to make sure to select the "Red" Funlight which will show up after you U/L to your phone!

Ooops! Skimmed past that post, so I went back and now, I can select several different flashing patterns, all of them "Colors" as it were, the other ones with "Names", like "Nocturnal" don't work. So anyway, once again, great work guys!!

Try making louder noise. the different lights are set at different decibels, if you are using my funlights file.

Well, I've tried like yelling into it and stuff...so I dunno

Also, I checked and yea they're all set to different decibels so I don't see why me blowing into it, or tapping or yelling, etc shouldn't set off at least one. Also, I have set them to different decibels, and also turned all of the black dots on to white, and that didn't work either so I switched back

I also tried all the sensitivity settings =x

I got the same problems. Imma try other lights. I'll post if I get the keypad to light up.

Ok I don't claim to know wtf I'm doing but I switched the Display and the Bluetooth light around and made the keypad first in the order and now the keypad works but the screen or the bluetooth are disabled...

wmwinn any reason why this way works for me and possibly jeffrey92 since we are having the same problem I assume?

Ok I got them to work on my V3re but I had to use TJ's latest pat file (found above):M3FTW!:. The only Clublight that works is "Solar" when I enable it. Nocturne only lights up my screen and not the keypad like with wmwinn's funlight file.

Try TJ's latest funlight and see if that one works.

ermm... the solar didn't really work for me.

basically, I enabled it and my screen when black like normal and then, even without me playing music or anything, like a second later it just started flashing a bunch and then it stopped flashing. and then it took 20 secs for them both to go off like normal and it wouldn't respond to anything

so basically it played the solar sequence and then stopped.

I don't know if this has been resovled, but with a tiny bit of tweaking, I made the clublights AND ring lights to fully work together in the same bundle on my V3re.

You see, in funlight editor, the clublight and ringlight registered on the same profile number seems to be the problem here and is probably why ring lights doesn't work at all (although it is need for both the keyboard and lcd screen to light in a clublights profile since the basic profile makes the keyboard and bluetooth indicator flash and the (club) string profile makes the LCD flash)

What I basically did is
1.I downloaded the original funlight.pat file...
2.Got into funlight editor
3.Open the pat file
4.Click on edit funlights tab
5.Deleted all the duplicated "(club)" strings to make the funlights work.
6.Did my own funlights pattern (check it out !)

EXCEPT for the first one which will be the one too chose on your V3re to make the clublights work (don't take the first one for ring lights, it will freeze your phone when receiving a call).

So in this pat file, both clublights (first light profile only) AND ring lights (anything but first profile) will work and keyboard, bluetooth indicator and lcd screen will all flash.

So here it is...
