my v3 has a skin disease !!

I put on 374_G_OE.42.09R
GSMV3MXCIN01NA0F5 and then used SkinManager5 to make the softkeys transparent. Also, used p2kAdvancedEditor to put the date in the lower lefthand corner ...now the date appears on reboot for a few seconds and then poof!!:zap: gone!! ...waddoIdo??

Lemme see...
Open up SkinsManager > plug in the phone > Select the current skin you are using > "More..." > "Patch SKI in phone" > Select "Date - Show", "Digital/Analog Clock - Show" > "Ok" > "More..." > "Restart Phone".
If it doesn't work, when you select "Patch SKI...", also select "Soft Buttons - Show"
You'll lose the transparency, but you'll get Time and Date :D

You can also edit the skins using Skinner4Moto. There you'll be able to assign the desired transparency (from 0 (opaque) - 255 (transparent)).
