I f*cked up...

Well, i finally had my phone the way i wanted, then i f***ed it all up

i accedentally deleted all of the a directory on my v3, now the date time and operator (i editted to show my name) wont show
the good news is, i think thats all i did. When i restared phone and reconnected to the computer, the a directory was there, but i still cant get those labels to show

Anyone have any ideas?

open skiman (with your phone plugged in of course) after it loads click on the skin you are using in the list (it'll have a green check next to it) then click the button at the bottom that says "more" scroll down to "patch SKI in phone". a menu will pop up with checkboxes. check where you want your operator, date, and time to show on the screen and make sure to uncheck "hide" on all of them that you want to see. when you're done click ok and let it work. then restart. hopefully that will do it.

funny! i made my first user bar a few days ago and for the life of me couldn't figure out how to make the one i wanted. so i searched the archive. hahaha... yours is the only one i found that said v3 modder! good work!

All that checkbox thing, I knew it could be done when uploading a new skin.
What I didn't know was that you could patch the skin once in the phone.

if you use a Stock MP, yes, it would.
Before flashing it, check if your BL version is supported by the MP.

too bad tou didnt make a backup of the way it wuz. perhaps deleting and re-installing the skin in skiman will do the trick. If you have the skin saved with the changes that is. or edit the plmn_text_table to show your name in the carrier space. probably that is the deleted file giving you all the grief.:)

my plmn_text_table says "Vyral" all over, but when it boots up, it says "Movistar" (my current carrier)

i have the plmn_text_table, and alucard you may have to do some seem editting for it to work, i had to.

btw what is BL version?

I used some programs to change the Carrier name, but they didn't work. Also, when I scan for networks, it shows "Vyral" but when it registers, it says "Movistar" :(

Heh, partly.
I just used the Absolut Operator Replacer, and as it didn't change, I just left it like that.
I forgot about the 2 Seem edits :P
