hi, yesterday i completely change all the housing of my girlfriend V3 ALL OF THEM.
when i was taking out the key pad circuit board, i realise that it was glued to the housing so I lift it up and start to cut the glue, when i put it to the new housing and then installed the new keypad, keys 9 and the D pad (up, down, left, right) did not function, I disassembly again and cleaned all contacts but nothing, what do you recommend?

first step would be to take it apart again and make sure its plugged in tight. then i would check it really closely to make sure you didn't damage anything. you may end up buying a new keypad. they're cheap.

i cleaned all the contacts and the keyboard too
maybe a damaged cable somewhere i know the original v3 had alot of issues with the keypad

sorry chucho its not the microphone even thought it looks like it so remember if your mic doesnt work its either sw or ypur motherboard because your microphone in soldred onto your microphone, (btw its the one with the small shielding on the side that has a hole in it that is covered with a thin layer of rubber)

its really hard to see damage to a flex cable it could just be a small crack in a circuit best thing to do is just replace it like candymike said there cheap!!
