Thanks for the mirror Dumba, hopefully there will be some more feedback soon. I'm excited to being this close to having a complete monster pack, comparative to the v3.

TJ - The DRM flash worked without any issues. I can confirm the following icons were updated:
Signal, battery, ring style. My GPRS and message icons stayed the same, didn't update. Thanks for your hard work!

Yeah I didn't want to change those, they seemed appropriate, I'm not sure what other icons I changed. I just went through and changed whatever looked better with the other DRM I used.

I have a few questions, hopefully this is the appropriate place to ask them.
Should I use Rsd Lite to flash this file to my phone? Now that I have successfully created a backup, which steps should I take prior to using this DRM? If I mess something up, can I always use my original backup and flash it back to the V3re with Rsd Lite? I have many more but that should get me on the right track!
Right now I am mostly interested in uploading a few Java Apps and freeing up as much space as I can get! Sounds like we all have to be patient for a monster pack which sounds really cool! Any guidance or advice is always much appreciated!

Thanks! I can't wait till we have an MP for this phone up.
Flashed it and looks good TJ!:sigh:
I'm getting pretty bold if I say so myself, lol. This was my second flash and I don't even have a backup of my phone :m3:

If you have a full backup, you should be good, I use Flash & Backup for my backing up and flashing. I'm not sure about RSD lite, I think you can flash it with that. As far as freeing space, I just went through and deleted all the skins, pics, vids, emoticons, sounds, I got about 6mb free, there is a thread on installing java apps. I am pretty close to having a MP I'm just waiting on someone to figure out the file system so we can get rid of the stupid lingering skin names.

Thank you very much for the info HeyItsTJ4.
Once concern I have is that if I do not like this file I flash to the V3re, what steps do I take to undo this action. Will I need to reflash with my entire backup OR just one section of it?
I found enough information successfully upload .Jad files to the V3re R3442A_G_0E.43.08R. P2k tools and Midway did the trick!
I went ahead and made a full backup as well as individual backups of each CG selection in both .SHX and .FS3 formats just to be safe. Perhaps these files can help someone else out who gets in a jam.
I noticed there was a thread about all of the stock files, images, sounds, ect. on the V3re but I have not made an attempt to delete any of them yet. I really don't like the media mall and other crap like that, perhaps I can delete that stuff with a file explorer like m-explorer or other.
It sounds like the existing problem of not being able to explore the root of A: and the skin fragments being left behind is holding up progress. It sure seems like the V3re is getting owned and everyone is learning lots from there experimentations.

Yeah, I am still a noob at this too, I can't figure out which CG's to upload to fix certain problems, because every time I mess something up I try just uploading the CG I modified, and it ends up bricking the phone to the alternating white light and off. Or the infamous SIG error at bootloader screen. So what I do is always make a full backup of the phone before any mod I do, that way I can restore it to my last mods I had a start over from there, rather than the beginning.

I too successfully installed. I must say however, I only noticed a change in the top icons of my home screen. What other effects should I see? :o Maybe I just haven't played enough yet.
But, all in all, a great big :sigh:

Yeah I changed a few of the other menu icons, but not the main ones, because I figure almost every skin has these changed.

I noticed one issue with this DRM, but it's only an issue if you have a T-Mobile flex. I noticed in the settings menu there is no myfaves icon for the myfaves menu listing. The menu list simply shows no icon at all and moves the word further to the left. I parced the file and looked through all the icons...kinda went blind doing it, lol...and realized you must have made this based on the AT&T version. If I get ambitious I'll add the icon in, but not today. I've wasted far too much time on phone stuff for one day.

V34ME,
I think you should save your time! I found out that there is more that needs to be done on an "unlocked, stock" flash than just enabling the bit in SEEM 0032 that lets the MyFavs menu appear (albeit without the icon, just the text). At least in my experience, it needs to have the T-mobile code in the CG to really utilize MyFavs correctly. I WAS able to get a MyFaves menu icon after hacking around with one of the posted, stock, un-locked flashes, but the menu did nothing except flash for a second and return back to the main menu again! I have only been able to get real MyFavs functionality using a T-Mob locked base. But, come to think of it, I will try the "replacing my mma files and setting the SEEM bit" trick on the unlocked version we have floating around for the R3442A_G and see if it recognizes MyFavs!

jklong03, I decided I'm definately sticking with the T-Mobile base software. After looking through all the graphics in the Cool DRM, and realizing it's base was AT&T, I decided to just flash my stock DRM back. Maybe if I get ambitious I'll add TJ's Cool graphics into the T-Mobile DRM...that is if I decide to put the time into it.

It really doesn't take long I think I used DRM port to extract the BMP's from the stock, and the cool mix, then I went through and replaced the icons one by one. It took me about 2 hours I think. But you have to be careful, you can't just copy one folder over top of the other, well in my case you couldn't porting from V3r to V3re.
