P2k Commander (Not Responding)

Hello all,

I am trying to get my USCC V3c connected to mod it to be able to add ringtones.

I followed the Get Connected instructions and everything worked fine until Step 11, where you choose the P2K Mobile Phone in the drop down menu. When I do this, the program just hangs.

I can see the Motorola USB device in the device manager and the P2K star is yellow on the status bar, so I think I am connected.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I am using P2k Commander 3.3.0

Did you start PST before you started p2k commander and leave it running? The star may be yellow, but it could be connected as an AT device which won't allow you to read the files. this version of p2k commander is finnicky

OK, it was showing as an AT device. I closed everything and disconnected my phone. Then I started PST, waited for the grey window and then plugged in my phone. There were no install prompts, so I assume the drivers are working fine (?).

When I start P2K Commander, the star stays orange. Now Commander does not hang when I choose the Mobile Phone option, but it reverts to the d: drive and I get the following message:
No P2K device found. Not connected!

What to try now?

Ihate that version of p2k commander. I'd try doing everything as you described, but instead of clicking p2k mobile phone in p2k commander, right click that star in the system tray and hit "Exit daemon" wait for the star to disappear, then try selecting p2k mobile phone from the dropdown menu

OK, got it to work! I installed PST 7.2.3 and P2K Commander 3.3.5 and started over. Thanks for confirming I was not doing something screwball.

Hi, everytime I click "from phone" in the menu editor, the p2k shuts off and closes. My slvr l7 menu is a bit mess, other menus are missing. Need help please.
