Modding the V3re

Wanted to check if other V3re owners have figured out solutions to the following:

1) After installing/deleting a skin, can you remove the skin listing from the phone?

2) Any method to view/edit/delete files in the root /a/ drive of the phone?

yea im havin this problem as well and ur solution is very clever but unfortunely i backed my phone up with fb3 after i installed my skins :madcaveman:

Hmmm, this skin thing is the only thing keeping me from having a completed MP, oh BTW wm, I've gotten my free space up to 6mb. I have my phone blank right now until someone breaks the file system, at that point I'll get rid of what files need not be there, and upload some skins, pics, music and games, and wahlah.

Yep, TJ... sounds like you and I are at the same level with modding the V3re. :thumbsup: I'm in search of more files to delete in the root of /a/ to free up even more space.

LOL, I just thought of something, I'm not very good at documenting my work in progress. I don't know which files I've deleted so I could tell others. Maybe when someone figures it out, I'll go through the excel sheet you made and compare my files to the original and document it. BTW on F&B in the little notes part, I have tried to keep good records of what was done for each of my backups, but when I went to load a backup, the note does not appear that I had typed originally. All that shows under file information is the filename. Have you had any luck with this feature in F&B.

No luck with the "notes" field in F&B for me. After doing a backup, I manually go to the folder that was created, and rename it to something descriptive. I don't modify the SHX filename inside, just the folder name.

Sure wish the NOTES field would work.... I wonder if this is a V3re specific problem?
