Hi,
Where would I find step by step instructions on how to change the case on a V3?
TIA

it is not for changing case, but it will give you an idea how to do it. just be careful.

This guide is a good one to follow. I used it to change my whole casing w/o a problem.
Just be careful when handling the areas around the ribbon cables....

Perfect. Thanks!
Looks a bit tricky - is it a job for a repair shop to change the case over to a new one or just a matter of being v careful?

if you have any problems let me know, I've done it 2 or 3 times now [although only once without screwing it up]

just how much of the case are you changeing ? if it is just the 4 main out side pieces you souldnt have a worry .just be sure to open the motherboard cover from the usb side and do it slowly and carefully as the other side has the ribbon cable atached to it . you can lift the ribbon with a fine set of twessers (i use a set that has a bend in them about 12mm from the end )i have changed 20 or so cases over . let me know if i can help any more .
