ok after a few hours searching i've downloaded this with no branding allegedly V235_R3512_G_0A.30.3ER_lp0039_full_flash.smf
i cant use the file, is it worth me putting it on a disc and taking it to a phone shop to flash it.?

that's wierd. i think it's sbf. try changing it's extension to sbf and open it in FB3.

have done as youve suggested and i now have 23 smg files on my hard drive? f&b shows 28 ticked boxes does that sound right?
what do i do know with the smg files? as perhaps its to short a term for the search function honestly i've tried

no that's not right. look for another MP. look only for shx or sbf file.

oh well my German is'nt what it should be.

my L7 is too important as my daily phone which is why i've left it with art2d2tx's MP as is. but i now dont like the menus on the v235 perfect opportunity to have a play and learn in the process without worrying too much if it goes tits up.

delete the init file in a/mobile/system so that there will be no error when turning the phone on.
