I have a new l7c from US Cellular, i have gotten it connected to phone tools 4.0. However whenever i start up rsd lite 2.7(also tried 2.5) i get no info displayed in the Device properties window, although the first line shows up as Motorola k1m/l7c, and status sits at connecting.... If I hit show device the computer works for a bit and i get
ESN: N/A
technology: N/A
Software Version: N/A
Flex Version: N/A
Bootloader Version: N/A
DRM Version: N/A
I also get a small icon that looks like an open phone with a red screen on the first line, and the status shows as []:13001, TCI instance not found, 1.
motomidman, p2ktools, and p2kman hang up and have to be closed whenever i try to use any of the options.

L7c is a CDMA so don't flash anything that we have here for L7. i'll move this to CDMA section. nevarDeath will help you there.

RSD Lite should work for you, but you have to follow the "Get connected" Guide first. This link says it's for the V3c, but it works for many different CDMA phones including the L7c:
http://www.modmymoto.com/guides/cdma/getconnected.php
Try using RSD Lite in place of PST, since you've already got it. If you still can't connect, then use PST. DO NOT flash anything to your phone! We don't have any flash files for the L7c and using any of the GSM L7 files will brick your phone in a heartbeat. All the guides in the V3c/V3m work with the L7c AFAIK except the external screen one obviously.
Motomidman won't work with your phone. The L7c doesn't have java (not the one from US Cellular anyway)
p2kman may work, although another guy with an L7c told me the seem function in it freezes the program.
p2kseem (modified version, there's a link to it in the Seem Editing Guide (http://www.modmymoto.com/guides/cdma/seemediting.php) is what you need to use to edit seems
p2kcommander will work for copying files to and from your phone.
Most programs won't work with the L7c because they're mainly made for GSM phones. Feel free to post anymore questions or problems!

haha, thanks, got it connected with pst, just needed to clear out all the old drivers i had tried out. Now to find out just what i can do. kinda sucks theres no java thought, cheap games was my biggest reason for tryign to mod the phone inthe first place. usc's games are insanely overpriced.

Yeah I got my motomodding start with a USCC V3c. The only thing worth downloading from EasyEdge is the iphone backup I think it's called, it's very quick and handy, automatically backs up your contacts once a day. 99 cents a month. Anyway, I believe there is a way to get java games working, I just haven't messed with it, check out what these guys have done:
