K1m Extended life battery problem

I just bought an extended life battery and so when I pop it into my phone and start charging it, but the thing is that it says it's fully charged in 30 seconds and then freezes 10 seconds after that. And it doesn't even hold a charge either. Is there something wrong with my phone or is it a battery problem?

BTW it was flashed from Verizon to Cricket if that makes a difference.

It could be the battery.

Did you try just leting the phone charge for a couple hours to see if it gets any power.

Yeah, I left it charging for about two hours last night to see if it would work but it didn't even hold a charge and the phone froze up...

The only way to find out if it is the battery is to put your old battery back in to see if it works. If your old battery works then you must have a faulty battery.

Yeah my old battery works but my old one can only hold an hour worth of charge though, I overcharged it....

Your best bet is to try to swap the extended battery for a new one.

you over charged it? i was told you cant over charge a battery. that once it says charge complete it just stops charging.
