Ok, so here I found one.
Pretty cool, though it comes in polish and you have to change the language to english in the settings.

I just noticed that when you're looking through pictures and click "apply as" there's no more phone book/picture thingey option, just wallpaper and screensaver now.

What's the seem edit to get it back?

Also, what do you mean the recent call's list is fixed? Can I just seem edit this so I can get multiple entries from the same number?

Hey dude! It's not an issue, you need to store the contacts on your phone memory to get that option going. Well lots of people were complaining about that (I personally find it stupid) about the mulitiple entries so I fixed it. If you want to put it back you could simply do this, get P2KTools, connect ur phone go into other feautures tab, click on get, go to recent calls list, untick the 2 ticked options, click on set. Restart your phone and you're done! Happy Modding! ;)

Actually, I already have my contacts in my phone memory. I have to manually go to the contacts I want to set the picture to, instead of going to the picture and choosing the apply contact option. Maybe my flash didn't work completely?

And thanks for the tip about P2KTools! I completely forgot about that!

im brazilian, so i speak portuguese...
but this monster pack lang pack is english n polish...
when i try to flash my old lang pack, the font changes to the original font n the language doesn't change to portuguese...
can anyone help me???

Ok, it's normal. Cause the font is in the language pack. As for the language stays to english, i think you should go to settings, initial setup, language, and change it to portuguese. Happy modding! :D

Very odd. I go to that page and click download and it sends me to the front page in IE and Firefox. Anyway... I'm trying to fix a problem. I tried to flash my L6 with the yomonster pack with RSD Lite 2.7, and the flash failed. phone eventually shut off by itself. I turned it back on and all seemed well. Changed the language to English, and the phone says "No Service - Emergency Only".

I tried changing bands... no luck. Flashed with this

Still no luck. I was hoping to fix my problems with your pack but I can't download it for some reason.

I think you have Knighthackers MP on your phone right ? He remaped it to volume down. I don't know what the value of select is, I can't check it on my phone right now either as for I don't have my moto tools here right now...I'll take a look at it tonight if no one responds. ;) But we do a have a original stock seem 005b_0001 in the downloads section, upload this to your phone and all the keys will go back to normal (stock).

Yep, load the seem, and save it to phone. Or you can use XVI32, and upload it to the phone, then restart. put in 005b_0001, upload. But remember every button will be stock again, exept the Home Keys! They're edited in seem 0032_0001. Best of luck! ;)

Get LP 0003 from here (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=1674). Flash it to the phone using either FB3 or RSD Lite. I may recommend FB3. Open FB3, connect your phone, write data tab, select file, write data and you're done! Happy modding! :D :D

You do not need to take out your sim. FB3 self will put it in boot loader. Just connect and do as I had told you in the above post. ;)

Are you talking about a American English language Pack ? There are two firmware, R3517 from China & the R3511 from Europe or somewhere. This is based on the R3511. What are you looking for exactly ? Btw welcome to Modmymoto!!

Hey SuperJoker, thanks for the welcome!

Basically, I like everything you've done with your MP but I wish it was based on the 62.0CR flash from the R5317 side with LP003 and a GS flex. That would be the ultimate combos for us North Americans. If you could do it, we'd be forever grateful!

Super Joker, this is an incredible Monster Pack, I've been using it for awhile and there isn't a single damn bug or glitch. The modified DRM and fonts are frigging awesome too, I just had one question, you the menu on the homescreen? Is there anyway I can disable it? I'd just rather have a blank homescreen with no date, or operator logo, no offence or anything, it's the best monster pack I've sampled to date.

Hi everybody,

Just got a L2 (well, yesterday afternoon). Got it independently from my operator (Telefonica in Spain). Nice phone, quite cheap for the features it has...

My questions are: what are the differences between L2 and L6? Can I use the Monster Packs listed here on my L2?

My main interest is to enable quad-band capability in the mobile (I travel a lot), although I would not mind being able to personalize it to my taste...

Ahh nice! L6 holds a camera also. L6 uses a different Flex than the L2. So we can't flash a L6 MP on an L2.
The trick for the quadband is pretty easy, we have a full guide available here (http://www.modmymoto.com/guides/L6/enable850.php). We also have this file available here (http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=1810), which is easier. Just flash it to your phone using RSD Lite and it will enable the quadband. I had test it on a L6, but I'm quiete sure that it will work on the L2 as well. Btw welcome to Modmymoto!!

By the way, what is the relationship between the firmware and the flex? Would it be possible to use a flex for L2 from other pack, and use the firmwares on yours? I have noticed that the flex in the mobile I got is relatively old and I am not sure about it being compatible with newer firmwares...

The Flex
The flex is the files and branding of the phone. It contains all the carrier specific menus and images, like T-Zones for T-Mobile, or whichever graphic branding and text links your carrier puts in the phone.

The Flash
The flash is the part we change most often. By now we have several types, but basically, the flash is the software of the phone. When you change the flash, it adjusts features, menus, and more. Also, things like the way your phone handles reception or menu speed are handled by flashes. Flashing your phone will not erase any of your media or settings. Then there's the seem.

I think it would be possible, but I don't think there is a point in that because all the seem edits & mods are in the FLex CG2. ;)

I do have a pack for the R3511 & R3517. If you are just asking for a stock R3517 with only quadband. I think it would be easier if you just flash the stock R3517 that we do have in the downloads section and flash the quadband activater file that we also have in the downloads section. ;) Would only be a couple of minutes, pretty easy also. ;) Btw welcome to Modmymoto!!! :D

hello I tried to download the file but due to the slow speed of my Dial up connection i am not able to completely download the file in 13 attempts. Can u please upload the file on any other server which allow Download accelerator to connect. I be vary thankful ro you if anyone done that.

I installed the Moto Mixture Reloaded pack on my L6 and everything works great except that I cannot change the GPRS APN. When i try to edit it I can only enter numbers. Anyone else have this problem? Aside from that though flash rocks. Any ideas on how to fix this?

fyi also, i tried using p2kadvanced editor to create the websession and that also fails :-(

I finally got the websessions installed using the p2k advanced editor method. I had to delete the websessions file from the phone first reboot and then create a new websession using the editor. I had been loading the settings from a previously saved websession file on my computer and then writing that to the phone and I think that may have been what was causing the problems. Also a note to anyone who is not used to using the websession editor in p2k advanced editor. You NEED to ensure that ENABLED is selected under Edit Session, otherwise the session will not work and in the case with my phone when you enter the websession menu the phone will lock up and restart. At least thats what continued to happen to me.

I had just found those monster packs on another site (looks like superjoker and I use the same sites - lol)

What intrested me was that they had a corlet working which is something I have never managed to do yet. (It was while checking corlets out that I found the packs)

I have not had time yet to play with all this (I'm in the middle of installing a new PC) so can anyone tell me if the corlet does work ??

Im constantly doin mods on my phone, so i figured that charging it all the time would damage the battery.

To control the feature:
Seem 004a_0001--->Offset 207---> (01 for charge with usb, 00 do not charge with usb)

Just change the actual value in the offset

so if you want the feature you can just do that seem edit

You mean the SHX file. Easy, open F&B3, connect your phone, choose active phone profile: L6 (at the right top), click write data tab, choose the file (SHX), click write data. Wait until it's done, phone will automaticly restart.

The L6 is pretty easy. You can choose any firmware that suits you. It can be a R3511, R3517 or a L6i firmware. It doesn't really matter. I like the R3517 personally.

You can download the Monster Packs. That includes firmware, flex, DRM, font. Everything comes in one pack. You should decide wether you want to flash the whole MP or not. ;)

I have some questions about the mods that those MPs contain:

1) some of them have six items in the Multimedia menu. I have five: pictures, sounds, videos, camera, video camera. What is the sixth one you can enable? It seems to be Bluetooth on some screenshots but I can't always tell from the screenshot... Why do you put Bluetooth in Multimedia if it's a standard menu item anyway? Can you put any item there?

2) What is Vibe Sync and what is Haptics?

3) What does it mean when it says that "Battery save" is enabled?

1. i only have four with the skin i put on my phone. im not sure, but i think you can put things wherever you want them with a certain program.

2.vibe sync/haptics is where when the phone rings, it vibrates to the beat of the phone

3.batery save turns the backlight completely off instead of just dimming it, thus saving battery

1. Yeah, it's bluetooth. Most MP's by me has bluetooth in multimedia, I find it to be easier to reach. And I honestly think 6 icons looks better. You can put anything you want there or just leave it empty.

2. Vibe sync is the same as haptics. Some language packs shows it as vibe sync and some show it as haptics. It is supposed to sync the vibration with the sound.

3. Battery save is an option to get more out of the life of your battery. With battery save enabled, when your screen goes black, it goes totally off. No power is being used, so it saves the battery. ;)

Mobile Phone Tools isn't any good when it comes to modding.

You will need to install the P2K drivers. Then get Motomidman, using Motomidman you can upload Java Games.

Well yeah, you will to edit the mma_ucp with P2K Menu editor. Use mma convert to convert the mma_ucp before and afterwards you finish editing with P2KMenu editor. ;)

One thing I'm uncertain about before I start converting the mma_ucp is whether I have to check the box at the top or not? please tell me what it should look like during converting and then reconverting. I know the procedures for Razr V3r but it doesn't have to be the same for L6 ;)

alright, after modding my friend's V3, will be starting to mod an L6 so i just want to ask what is the best monsterpack for L6 and what is the best CG1 for L6? thank you :corkysm21:

Well, you can go in the downloads section and see which one of them all has the most downloads. ;) I find the R3517 firmware to be faster & more solid. The only problem about is, corelets won't work on it. As for the R3511 is a bit more slow and it doesn't have auto keypad lock, but it does support corelets.

what about the L6i CG1? is it good? like CG1 and CG3 from L6i and CG2, CG4, CG15, and CG18 from my original backup.

The L6i is pretty good. It's exactly the same as the R3517. Only thing, it has a radio feature that won't work. :thumbsdown:

i have software version starting with 3511.
i read in some guide that for flashing a monster pack the first four numbers of the software version of the monster pack must match with the version already installed on phone.
so how can i flash your monster pack with a software version starting with 3517 or any higher version?

That is right for other phone models. The L6 is a bit special when it comes to flashing firmwares. It can hold the R3511, R3517, R3443 H1 (L6i firmware). So it won't be a problem, just flash it. :D

When I'm done with editing the menu with P2K Menu Editor, I have to convert it back. Again check the box?

I must be doing something wrong, cause it doesn't work... When I upload the new menu, it's reordered, some items are missing. There are only 4 items in Multimedia, although I was trying to add one and there should be 6.

Here's what I do:
Download mma_ucp from a\mobile\system. Open MMA Convert, check the box, hit convert. Open the converted file with P2K Menu Editor. Add an item in Multimedia. I tried adding Voice Records and Bluetooth. Save the mma_ucp with the new item. Open MMA Convert, check the box and convert the file. I then upload it to a\mobile\system (the original file is overwrited), check the attribute to System and restart the phone.

Any ideas?

Hmmm, you know I got that problem once. What I did was, use a mma_ucp that I always use. You can find in the iphone skin package. Just remove the custom icons that I use. And change the layout to your style and see if it works.

I normally don't check the system check box at the end either.

Boogie18 you will have to Brand the menu items before adding
i-e "Inster SubMenu item ==> Convert to Brand ==> the choose what ever you want from the drop down list

As I explained in the other thread, the flex is not compatible with the L2.

That is a trial version of F&B 3. You need to buy the full version of it for only $10 or use RSD Lite as alternative. Google for RSD Lite. :google:

If you read and follow the guides. Risk is zero. You can flash SHX files with RSD Lite & F&B 3. I don't think you will lose the warranty unless you open up the phone, which you will not be doing.

That's a corelet, mediaviewer I believe if I'm not mistaken. Or it's mini commander. They appear whenever the phone is turned on.

Is there a way to enable the Call-Settings in the WinVista-MP?!
I mean the menu in which u can do things like show or hide the User-ID when calling someone...

Yes, you will need to edit the mma_ucp so that it will show on the menu. It's a bit complicated, but you might try it if you really want it.

You will need P2K Menu editor & mma_convert. Convert the mma_ucp before & after you modify it with p2K Menu Editor.

You'll be needing P2K Menu editor & mma_convert and a mma_ucp. I think you want to modify the one that you are using. So use P2KTools to grab the mma_ucp in a/mobile/system. After you're done editing it, upload it back to a/mobile/system using P2Ktools.

PK2Menu editor, P2Ktools & mma_convert 1.3 are available in the software downloads section.

I just installed iPhone MP it's a nice MP but I have a problem...
I lost my Sim Tool Kit menu...
My network provider add the menu on the sim card and it doesn't show up after the installation...

You have to add it by using Menu Editor
But below You have my mma_ucp. It's a little bit different but You have a SIM Card App included in it.

will flex lock your phone back to a specific carrier? ie., i have an unlocked l2 right now, if i flash the cingular flex onto my phone will my phone be locked back to cingular?

If it's a locked MP, it will. But all the MP's that we have are unlocked. So, no worries. Usually when a MP is locked, it will have a warning stating so. ;)

I'm hoping someone can help me. I flashed the iphone pack on to my l6 a couple weeks ago and lpove it. But I just now discovered a small problem with it. I was going through the menus to set up my webaccess through cingular, and discovered I can't enter the device homepage. The entry box wants only numbers and won't let me switch to any of the other entry modes.

Any advice on how to create a cingular websession on the phone? I tried the auto create feature on cingular's homepage, but it gives me an error 404.. woo.

Just some more info, I only need to setup the webaccess for MMS capabilities. I just skipped the homepage entry and setup the rest and it works fine for mms.

It's not a problem with the Iphone pack. Use P2Kadvanced Editor to edit the websessions. It should work. P2KAE is available in the software downloads section.

A little guide on installing "skins":

Use P2Ktools.

All you gotta do is upload all the gif images in a/mobile folder.
And then upload the mma_ucp and spcolor.sch files in a/mobile/system
folder.

Make sure you backup ur original mma_ucp if u wish to go
back to ur older skin. If u wish to go back, all you gotta do is upload
ur old mma_ucp back in a/mobile/system.

If it is your first time uploading a custom colour scheme, you gotta enable custom colour
schemes by doing this seem edit.

Seem 0032_000:
Offset 53 - bit 6: Settings > Personalize > Color Styles (allows for custom color style). (1 on, 0 off)

Note: Ur original mma_ucp can be found in
a/mobile/system before u begin modding ur phone.

First of all, welcome to Modmymoto!!

This is the Monster Pack thread. If you have questions which is not related to Monster Packs, please start a new thread or do a quick search.

Anyway, here's the answers to your questions.

To get connected, try to follow this quick guide right here, http://www.modmymoto.com/forums/showpost.php?p=51733&postcount=13.

L6 does not support skinning, only colour schemes and some icons tweak. We have a L6 color scehemes section in the Skin downloads.

To install them, follow this guide.

Use P2Ktools,

Hi All,
Im new to the L6 but it looks a great phone..
I got the phone that is Telstra branded and appears to be locked to Telstra also.. I put a new sim card in and it asks for the subsidary password..

So I have a question for someone please.:bowdown:
q. If I reflash the firmware to the latest unbranded monster pack - will the lock be removed ?
I don't really want to test point it and my smart clip doesn't seem to unlock it giving me critical error 80 40

Any advise please..
