Setting Up Phone Tools?

Hey everyone, just got my PEBL today.
I'm trying to install MPT, but the phone keeps being recognized by windows as a Motorola Modem.
How do I remedy this?

Wait until MPT prompts you to plug the phone in.

did that already.
MPT detects that I connected my phone and displays the "detecting and installing phone" progress bar.
however, it never fully installs and says something along the lines of "MPT was not able to detect or install your phone"

Try updating MPT to 4.xx

OK, next problem.

When I try to monsterpack my phone, RSD_Lite 3.3 always fails after creating the image.
However, I tried a stock MP and that worked fine.

Btw, I tried downloading your MP several times and I keep getting a File Corrupt message when I'm extracting it.

kk, try to D/L it here - http://www.savefile.com/files/326643 or, if that was the currupt .rar, just go to the dl section here on MMM.
I would use RSD Lite 3.0 or lower, I pesonally never saw the need to upgrade from 2.6, if it aint broke....

I tried the savefile and the MMM version.
both give me "! F:\PeblMP.rar: CRC failed in PeblMP\Milkbone98_U6_Pebl_MP1.1.shx. The file is corrupt
! F:\PeblMP.rar: Unexpected end of archive"

when I try to extract them.
